This was our 3rd time staying here and probably wont return. We stayed in a pool room this time around which was clean but it was extremely loud especially in the middle of the night. People were up yelling, people in rooms next to us must have been smoking and we could smell it in our room. We had friends that stayed in the tower for the first time and people were up fighting, cops came one night. Completely different vibe then previous times, which we had no complaints either of those times. The employee who checked us in was very kind and informative. Also, the parking lot was flooded due to rain, people just parked their vehicles and boats anywhere as they didnt want to park in the flooded area which I get, but it made it difficult to maneuver around to park at our unit with how the parking lot is set up.

The photos and descriptions of this place from the website are very misleading. The rooms are extremely small and dirty. The floors were filthy, food on the curtains, toilet had poop crusted onto it. Then we brought our boat expecting there to be room for us to park and launch the boat as described on the website and the grounds were so small and tight we couldn’t even drive our boat around the back of the buildings. We have a 25 foot boat so good size but not even close to the biggest boat in the keys. Will never return.

We stayed three nights with wife and mother. Enjoyed the pool area, included kayak used and the shore, too bad not access to the water but views and tranquility were amazing to watch the sunrise. Staff on the front office was attentive and provided good recommendations. Room was comfortable and with basic equipment, will come back. Perhaps hallways could use some paint and maintenance only for looks but overall no complaints.

Great location. 2 bedroom room was spacious and the balcony over looking the ocean was awesome. Property itself lacks all resort amenities except a pool. Getting towels or even TP was a pain in the butt. And forget about getting your room cleaned. They advertise grills, but no propane ( they did me a favor by letting go to the store and buy a propane tank. (Really)??) The staff was nice, but mostly non-existent. At $600+ a night - would expect more.

I booked a 1200 pool villa as advertised as the only room being left , I wanted that spot for me and my father, couldhve went else where… but went with the pool villa! When we got there they gave us a one bedroom, 1 bed, I was very upset they said that’s what we had on the reservation im like , no mam I have the receipt and email right here I reserved that pool villa month or so ago , and paid $300 something deposit! For that room! Hey said I was reserved in their system for normal room, im like uh there’s no way … can we fix it? They said no they’re all booked but still wanted to charge me that much… if they knew it was a regular room why would it be that much? I was very upset me and my father got our money back, still not my $300 deposit, but the rest we paid , and went to drive find another hotel to stay in.

It was a cheap stay. Got what we paid for and nothing more. The Marina had a very poor smell and was unkempt. There was mold On the ice bucket and soap dish. Sheets and pillows were discolored. Lobby was not open at posted hours, needed items but unable to get them until later in morning. Breakfast was grab and go but by third morning everything was pretty much gone and not restocked. Outdoor seating area near lobby was a very nice spot to eat versus the room.

Worst Stay Ever

Upon our arrival 7/19/25 to Hadley House, our AC was not working. We gave the room a few hours to cool. We realized it was not working we went to inform them. We were directed to use remote to turn up air for it to work. We tried & waited few more hours. It still didn’t work. By 9:15 pm, we finally went to the office and she showed us another room we could switch into but told us it had a ceiling leak repair. The room was extremely musky smelling and not in the same area as our 250+ pool side room we paid for. She told us to ask the person the next day to upgrade us to a 2 bedroom ocean front room. I spoke to the manager on 7/20. She told us the AC was working and we were in by noon. The AC was not working & it remained between 77-78 the rest of our trip. It was extremely uncomfortable sleeping. I texted to inform of the AC issue. There was also a HUGE cockroach. On Monday 7/21/25; I went to return towels at 8:30 am. I was told to put them in the towel return and that we’d get towels delivered to our room. We left for the day & no towels when we returned. My husband went down to ask AGAIN for towels. He was told that the dryer was “acting up”. He went back AGAIN at 8pm and told her we still needed towels. She then got up to retrieve towels. I also gave them a “24 hour cleaning service notice” that we wanted our room cleaned for 7/21. No room service was completed. This trip was very expensive and we’ve never had an experience like this.

Need an improvement in Cleanliness Guest Service.

We are truly looking forward our stay, but unfortunately we did not expect our expectations.The check in was okay.But the room was not properly maintained. Stain at a the sofa bed the room has unpleasant smells, bathroom smells,like that the air conditioning was not properly cleaned and maintained. The bed is uncomfortable.The breakfast area was dirty and whoever in that first morning shift was rude and totally unhelpful.What added to the frustration was the Hotel site falsed advertising. The Marina was full of seaweed and the pool was small.The fact of all the false things that’s was advertised .We expected a better service. I did paid money and stayed for 3 nights.I hope management take this survey seriously, as the improvement are clearly needed in both cleanliness and guest service.Unfortunately I won’t be returning or recommending this Hotel.

Gem in Islamorada

I love this place, it’s chill, dog friendly, ramp and docks for ease of throwing in my paddleboard. Insanely beautiful views, and central to everything.
