Room internet drops every 30 seconds. Reported the problem multiple times. Workers blamed me for only telling front desk, thry say you must ask for a manager. Room is simply not cleaned unless you go to front desk to ask, and then you have to wait for mext day for cleaning. Room telephone does not work.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They upgraded our room to one of the cottages on the beach and were super prompt about getting us more towels for our room when we asked. Unfortunately the pool had giant chunks of the floor missing, lots of tiles missing on the deck and a ton of sand on the floor of the pool. La Siesta also does not have a liquor license so we were not able to purchase beers or any liquor based drinks like we were at their sister resort Amara Kay. We were told about breakfast one night while get the key lime pie pops (highly recommend). The breakfast was really great but we were not told that is was going to be added to our rooms which was disappointing to find out when we checked out. La Siesta has the potential to be really great but some transparency on prices and up keep on the amenities need some work.

Great pool, nice layout that embraces the keys vibe well, very friendly helpful staff, great sunrise views, kayaks and canoes available for rent, convenient free boat to their other 2 properties which also have nice facilities.
