This is a beautiful resort ! Lots of dining choices around although just room service on property. There is also no liquor drinks at their tiki pool bar . They have wine and spritzers and ice cream. Very family friendly!!! Views were amazing and staff were super friendly and accommodating! Has room service

Room was a little dated and bathroom fan did not work. Lights started dying out mid stay. Wasn’t aware of resort fee until we arrived, so that was a surprise expense ($60 a day). We did enjoy the rum runner boat and shuttle for transportation between sister resorts. Breakfast at the hotel did not see worth the cost so we opted out of that. Coffee shop down the road was great though. Pool was decent and views of the water were very nice. Water st the beach was mostly seaweed so not much place to swim in the water so we visited Three Waters for a better beach experience.

What we liked were the views. What we didn’t like, no internet, furniture is old and worn, damage in room, door in bathroom hit the toilet and would not open all the way. Entry door was dirty where everyone touches it. Staff were friendly however would not take requests. Fees on expiedia were not the same the resort charged (they charged more). I would not recommend. There are nicer places to stay on Islamorada.

Meh - There’s probably a better option.

Hotel grounds were well kept and pretty. The hotel room we stayed in was underwhelming and poor for what we paid. There was mold growing in the bathroom, and the fixtures and tub we in very poor condition. Bathroom door and living room door didn’t shut properly. We were placed on the third floor, no elevator. I’m 5 months pregnant and it was a workout every time we went to and from our room. The beds were very clean, BUT very uncomfortable. I wasn’t able to get a good nights sleep due to noise and how hard the bed was. The door to the outside didn’t have a weather strip so you could hear everything happening outside and on the highway. I was worried critters would be able to get into the room. The staff was very friendly and we utilized the amenities at the other two sister resorts. We wish we would have stayed at one of those instead, it obviously gets better attention to detail and better things to do.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However the property itself was a bit lacking. Our room had multiple points of obvious damage when we arrived, and some of the walkways were slick enough to cause falls if it they were wet.

We found nutshells on the floor wires hanging from the television set bathroom filthy blinds, broken it goes on and on, the hotel actually had no coffee for us. We had to go down into a lobby to get a cup of coffee for this type of a stay unacceptable. More like a hotel than a supposed four star resort also the third floor balcony ceiling had a light fixture just hanging, which could’ve hurt somebody or kill the child. Shame on your staff microwave out.

During my stay housekeeping was in my room and hid my wedding ring behind the bed with the intention of taking it. Itwas in a place they immediately knew where it was and in a place it would have not naturally fell to. Also upon check in they said nothing would be charged to the card but I got charged $132.76. Please credit this amount back as no purchases were made and this amount not authorized. I’ve submitted an email on your website twice now and have not received ANY response back.

La Siesta Resort- Islamorada, Fl

I understood that the place was pet friendly. However, nowhere in the booking process was I made aware that I would have to pay $50.00 per dog per night for the stay. Cost an extra $200.00 upon arrival. Somewhere in the process this was not made clear in any way that I saw.

Nice quiet family resort; casita on the beach is lovely and pool great. Good you get free transport between resorts and to use facilities of all reorts
