Disliked: Cleanliness
I really loved the location of this property. The issues I had with the property or the cleanliness, the lack of basic supplies in the house to maintain its cleanliness, issues with some pool furniture that was broken and has obviously been that way for quite a while. Pool maintenance being done in the middle of a weeklong rental. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but the owner of the property refused to address any of the problems along with VRBO until I disputed part of the payment with my credit card company. That’s just bad business. This house is in a great location and I would give it a five out of 10. I stay in a lot of rentals and I’ve stayed in a lot better for a lot less. It’s just not worth the amount they are renting it for. It wasn’t clean, I left one trash bag in the trashcan for an entire week of seven occupants. There were no basic bathroom supplies. The outside bar had obviously not been cleaned in a long time and there were rusted through broken pool chairs that should’ve just been removed a long time ago. We were without water for almost a day and a half and the pool maintenance company added chemicals to the pool in the middle of our stay. We filled our own propane tank. I am used to having one or two small little things happen and I have never left a bad review before. But this one had numerous things happening all at once right from the very beginning of the rental. The lack of addressing these or concern for it was the biggest disappointment.
