Room was very basic with no charm, OK for 1 night, but not as nice as in the pictures. Property has a nice bay front area with kayaks, paddle boards, chairs etc... Pool was small, but fine for the Keys. All very functional but not much else. Water pressure was a bit low and room had just been cleaned so smelled very strongly of cleaning products and hard to air out.

From the moment I arrived at La Jolla Resort, I felt completely at home. The property is beautiful — classic Florida Keys charm mixed with thoughtful modern touches. My room was spotless, cozy, and had that laid-back island vibe that instantly puts you in vacation mode. I loved the extra touches that make this place special: free kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear, and bikes — perfect for exploring the water or cruising around Islamorada. The pool area and the private bayfront dock were my favorite spots to relax and watch the sunset. The location is also ideal — close to restaurants, shops, and attractions, but still quiet enough to feel peaceful and private. I honestly didn’t want to leave. La Jolla Resort captures everything that makes the Florida Keys so special — laid-back, friendly, and full of natural beauty. I can’t wait to come back!

Great weekend getaway. First time staying after years of staying in the Keys. Clean rooms, clean property, friendly service. Lots of different rooms to accommodate budget and needs. We loved the on site slips for your boat as we brought ours and kept it on site. Will definitely be back. Only gripe is parking is limited and tight.
