The hotel is not fancy, but it is clean & roomy & the staff is wonderful - they are friendly & helpful. The location is convenient to the train station & to stores & restaurants. The view from our room was beautiful of the river and mountains and sunset. This felt like a hotel but was a hostel in that we had shared bathroom, shower, kitchen and dining rooms. The roof terrace and dining areas were exceptional. The daily brunch was wonderful! Prices are higher in Switzerland so we chose a smaller room & spent most of our time outside.

We stayed one night as a jump off place for the Lauterbrunnen valley and Murren.we were also returning 3 days later and they held our bags for us and had them already in our room when we returned. An economical lodging option in a convenient location, walkable to Main Street and the train station. I never had to wait to use the common bathrooms, which was great. The rooms aren’t very well insulated, so you can hear some noise from other rooms and the hallway, but it was quiet at night.

Room 12 is lovely and simply decorated with a private balcony and washroom. We also enjoyed using the kitchen facilities to cook dinner. We paid for the breakfast to be included in our stay and felt the buffet was very worth it!
