The rooms were clean, and the staff was very pleasant. The atmosphere here is a vibe, you have the resort feel, but not overbearing. The pool area is great, and the pool/bar staff were nice. I would come back.

Our room appeared to be very clean. It had a minor smell of smoke. What we thought was a dresser kept a mini fridge stored. There really wasn’t much room to store our clothes other than hanging in the small closet. When we checked in we were asked what we preferred. Either first floor or second. We let her know to give the better of the two, since we had never been there. Our balcony barely fit two chairs. They were facing some kind of drainage system. Once we tried to sit in them was very uncomfortable. We turned them to face each other to give more room. Our knees were literally 6 inches away from each other. At some point we tried to call the front office however there was no phone in our room. The pictures on the site made it look different than what we encountered.

Expensive for what you getting

Service is excellent but the rooms and carpets dirty. Stained carpets everywhere. Beat up walls, base boards and rooms. Also not very clean. Pool area is nice though. Drinks are also 15-18$

I understand this hotel is expecting a 85 million dollar remodel and new name it is overdue for this, Although we enjoyed our stay and the staff was awesome, the food delicious it is time to step up this property and make it newer and nicer. Would love to come back after the updates!

Probably the worst hotel stay and experience i’ve ever had. To say this hotel was a disappointment is an understatement. I have stayed at the Riviera several times years ago when it was the original Riviera but sadly it is nothing like it was. Upon arriving and checking in I immediately got a bad feeling. The hotel staff at the front desk were unprofessional, unwelcoming and clueless and obviously never heard of the word “hospitality”. I was charged for the weekend stay, taxes, including a hefty “incidentals” deposit which was never disclosed when booking. It was a special birthday weekend so i booked a room well over a month in advance and specifically asked for a mountain view. We were given a run down room with a view of the parking lot. The room was located down a dingy hallway with stained and dirty carpeting. The room itself was completely understocked with no bottled waters (we used our own), no coffee for the Keurig coffee maker, not enough towels for two people, and a bathroom with a half a roll of toilet paper! I had to call the front desk and ask for more towels and was lucky enough to see a housekeeping cart by our door and asked if they could spare an extra roll of tp for our room. Unbelievable i know. The bathroom had an automatic light that was broken and kept turning on & off every five minutes which was super annoying and disturbing when we were trying to get to sleep. Housekeeping never came once to clean or restock our room during our stay. Do not recommend

The customer service was great from the beginning. The front desk employees, house keeping, pool staff and restaurant staff were all great. Our room was very clean and close to the pool. Kids had a great time. Can't wait toncome back.

Very nice place with great staff. Security was very friendly and professional. So much history at this place. Great food options without having to leave the resort. Enjoyed our stay very much.

A nice surprise—we just needed a place to stop for the night after leaving Vegas for LA and stumbled upon Palm Springs and this charming resort. It had several pools, good dining, and even free bike rentals, which we took full advantage of. We spent the day riding all over Palm Springs, enjoying great shopping and dining along the way. The whole family had a wonderful time.
