Book a hotel near Iditarod Trail Headquarters, Wasilla

"Breakfast was ok, pretty much several options but the eggs were scrambled Frozen premade patties in a steam table tray, frozen sausage patties and potatoes also. Not much of a substantial breakfast choice if eating Kosher. Rooms and facilities were top notch, clean and well maintained. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly-Especially Curtiss and Trina at the front desk. An especially nice touch was fresh baked cookies made by the GM (can’t recall what they said her name was). And on a final note, there were numerous halloween decorations at the entrance, in the lobby and elsewhere on display, quite nicely done. However as a Christian, the halloween decorations are something that I wouldn’t expose children under 10 to. So I won’t be returning and staying at this facility for any family outings."

"It was a great hotel with a friendly manager ; Jenny. She even accommodated us with an extra heater. Us Texans was not used to the base board heat and need a little extra , especially at night. There is no kitchen but they do offer a small refrigerator and a microwave. This property does not offer long-term rental but for the few days we were there it was wonderful. Would stay again if in that area. Five stars! "
