"This mountain house was spotless. The four bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed. We cooked several family meals while we were there. From the back deck we saw deer passing by along with fabulous sunsets. It was an easy drive to West Jefferson and to Blowing Rock as well as the parkway."

"Beautiful cabin, good location, short walk to river. Sheets on the beds were dirty and had a smell, luckily we brought our own covers, but other than that overall 4 stars. "
