Gated Private Villa on the Best Beach in the Punta Mita Area - Paradise Found
Why We Love Our Beach House Our home is on a beautiful, uncrowded beach where you can swim and surf right in front of our house.
Magical and Enchanting Beach house nestled right on the Vibrant Pacific Ocean. Located three miles away from the Famed Four Seasons and St. Regis properties in Punta Mita Mexico and 15 minutes to Sayulita.
It's all about getting close to nature. With the Jungle behind us and the ocean in front-we are often mesmerized by the natural beauty of it all. We have experienced seasonal whales breaching in the water along with the turtles arriving each year to lay their eggs. We have a great beach for swimming, water sports and yoga. On some days we have it all to ourselves. It is inviting, tranquil, safe, very relaxing yet super energizing.
The main residence rests behind the private lot on the hill with breathtaking views. There are loads of activities on the beach and in the area to choose from - including yoga, horseback riding, boating, snorkeling, canopy tree zip lines, kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, kite surfing, hiking and many others.
Housekeeping provided 2-3x per week.
Casa Loma is not appropriate for families with young children (age 5 or younger) as there are semi-open railings along the deck of the upper section of the house.
For safety and security, there are exterior cameras on each entrance to the house, totaling four. There is also a noise sensor on the interior of the house used to alert us of activity when Casa Loma is expected to be unoccupied. Please note that there is no recording or listening to conversations on this device, as it is only capable of monitoring decibel output. Laugh, sing and have a good time during your visit!

Just perfect
What was not to love? Mark’s home is the perfect secluded getaway. So comfortable, spacious and clean, with every detail so well thought out. He was the most attentive and easy host we’ve ever had. Incredible sunsets, wonderful meals and just an all around perfect week. I would not change a thing! The best beach we’ve stayed at in Nayarit- great for swimming, surfing, walking and just sitting. Very mellow and not crowded. We just loved it all so much! Thank you so much Mark!

Safe, stunning, hospitable seaside manse
As gorgeous as these pics are, you may, like us, think you’ve arrived at the wrong house. Really splendid. A vacation layer cake of a house. Full view of beach and water (thru public access), not just the sunset “slit” you see here. All day bodyboarding in warm water, regatta of sups, boards etc. these hosts SHARE. Warm pool overlooking sea. Sprawling outdoor entertainment area, fully stocked, substantial sofas, shade. home’s Interior elegant and soulful, as if shaped by an artist over time. from uriarte put to daily use to handwoven chairs, and yet it feels comfortable, like home. (Tho need 1 softer mattress upstairs). Books you’ve wanted to read. Dirt road first time daunting in dark, but fine in a.m. and here’s the benefit: you are not in the sayulita tourist trap (tho close enuf to it and our favorite, San pancho, to enjoy the restaurants, shops, nightlife)…here you are in a u.s. retirement/telecommute strip at edge of a mexican village. We stumbled into the annual saint event, moved to tears by a procession of 300 stately cowboys on horses brushed to a sheen. And they invited us to their stuff. Location Very quiet. Feels safe, locals so hospitable that one guy, Alonso, even watched our daughter in the waves. Gate is just for house, at bottom of steep driveway. Must manually lock it (not our fave feature). Host available immediately at all hours, we took many of his recommendations, they were terrific. One of our best vacations ever, thanks to this host and Vrbo. Grateful.

New Year R&R
Our family had a wonderful stay at Casa Loma. The property is beautiful, well laid out with space for everyone to enjoy, and so many details and thoughtful touches were appreciated. We all enjoyed lounging at the pool, beach walks and hiking right from the house! Communications with Mark were timely and helpful. His food recommendations were wonderful. We are all starting the new year spoiled & refreshed!

Beautiful home on beautiful beach
Our family of 5 (including 3, 5, 8 year old kids) had a fantastic stay at Casa Loma. Clean, creatively decorated, high end home with great pool, gorgeous beach access across dirt road, and close proximity to beach towns from Punta Mita to Sauyulita to San Pancho and beyond. Mark was incredibly communicative and helpful, and his local team (Clint, property manager, Kenia, who cleaned, and the yard / pool staff) were all supportive and responsive but unobtrusive too. Truly a remarkable property and great week. One note for parents of young kids: largest master bedroom is on bottom floor, so just worth knowing as you plan rooms / sleeping arrangements.

Very Responsive
The property was accurately described and fit our needs just fine. The beach was rocky but still very pleasant and every possible ‘toy’ was at the house for us to use. It was a large home separated out so none of felt we were on top of each other. We also had a housekeeper 3x and the pool guy was there often. When we did have any concerns, minor as they were the property manager as well as the owner were on top of it immediately. That was truly amazing. The property was also very quiet despite houses all around us. We never knew it. Overall we had an incredible time and enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect Getaway
We were looking for a relaxing, off the beaten path type of place to stay and this place was perfect. The home was great with amazing outdoor entertaining areas, incredible views and in the ideal location. Quiet beaches without all of the crowds yet close enough for a short drive to fantastic restaurants. The staff were friendly, communication with property management was quick and very helpful. Highly recommended and we'll be back!!

Comfort in Paradise
Two families with teens and tweens stayed here for one glorious week in February. Owner Mark and local house manager Clint were wonderfully attentive to us on car rentals, grocery ordering, recommended activities and eats, and minor home fixes. House cleaner Kenia came 3x which was lovely to have fresh towels and clean dishes. Don't miss out on hiring her and her mother to make wonderful dinners- fresh juices, tortillas made by hand, savory meats and lovely desserts for a fraction of the price you'd pay in Seattle. The almost deserted beach called to us daily- watching the whales, boogie boarding or jumping in the waves, and clean, fine sand. Views from everywhere in the home or at the pool. Know some Spanish or have an adventurous side- this is authentic Mexico without throngs of tourists and vendors. Ask the kind man at the beach to cut down a coconut for you, walk to the one and only fabulous restaurant on the beach (Litibu Grill) for cocktails at sunset, appreciate the dirt road you drive in on while the friendly dogs that greet you. Zipline, Horseback ride, ATV, hike, golf all a 10 minute drive from the home. Great a/c, landscaping, and views from everywhere; good enough wifi for video calls and smart TVs. Well-stocked kitchens, basic toiletries provided, plenty of games and books. Thankful for our week in paradise!

Felt like camping
The house itself is very unique and the furnishings and decor from the area make it feel very authentic and comfortable. The beach nearby is beautiful. The area is definitely rural which makes it pretty peaceful but also has a few downsides. The water has a sulfur smell and the hot water comes and goes. There is a dirt road between the house and the beach that is occasionally a little busy and dusty. There is also a lot of construction in the area, it didn't bother us too much but they definitely make a lot of noise and seems like the area is getting more popular.
The house had a few issues while we were staying. Upon arrival the ac was turned off so the rooms were hot and stuffy/smelly for awhile which wasn't the best welcoming. The hot water broke in the master bedroom due to calcium blockage and the plumber had to come to repair it. The infinity pool was broken (and I think the heater if there is one, we never got a clear answer about it) so the water wasn't being filtered properly. The fridge had water leaking from somewhere onto our food. The master bedroom smelt like mold which the owner said was from the water but it didn't smell as much like sulfur as it did like must. We kept the doors open during the day but liked to close them at night because of bats and bugs. There were a lot of ants and it seems like the property needs to be treated for bugs in general. There was a hornet nest above the outdoor kitchen area but the Gardner took care of it the day he came in. The maids came a few times during our stay which was very nice but they did take 4-5 hours each time which seemed a bit long. There is no safe at the house so we felt we needed to be present when the house staff were working. The main gate for the driveway is locked with a bike lock only and the maids left it set to the code after one of their visits. The dishwasher was very dirty and unusable. Most the dishes were dirty when we arrived and had to be hand washed before being used. The rugs and some of the furniture had a lot of stains. We couldn't figure out how to use the oven and weren't able to cook some of the food we had purchased.
The property owner, Mark, was easy to communicate with and tried to address our problems the best he could. The local property manager Clint wasn't as accessible or helpful.
Overall we enjoyed being in the sunshine and visiting the beach but definitely wouldn't plan on staying again.

Just the perfect spot
My husband and I have stayed at this beautiful home on 3 separate occasions during this past year. We love the privacy, the secluded beach, the proximity to many dining options, and the many amenities the property has to offer. The owner, the property manager, and the house staff are all a pleasure to deal with.

The best beachfront villa on a private beach close to Puerto Vallarta
We travelled with our family of 4, and 3 friends and this property was the perfect set-up. The layout gave us 3 separate living spaces for ultimate privacy and an amazing pool deck with an outdoor kitchen.
The beach was right out our front door and was quiet with great ocean swimming.
The communication with the owner and property manager made our vacation preparation, arrival, stay and departure flawless.
Their guidebook gave us a long list of recommendations such as restaurants, excursions, golf courses, shopping and the list goes on. A very helpful guide as this was our first time to this area.
Kristen and Clinton were so helpful. They had the house stocked for us as we were arriving late. And they were easy to get a hold of if we had any questions.
We hired a private chef on their recommendation and it was the best food we have had on vacation.
I would highly recommend this property on this incredibly private beach. We would definitely return!

Perfection
This is our second visit to this beautiful home located on a private, sandy beach. The well equipped kitchen made for easy breakfasts. Had awesome lunches from the numerous local roadside stands. Staying at Casa Loma feels like you are a million miles away from everything , but honestly are just minutes away from many great dining options ( most of which are either entirely outside, or offer outdoor seating). Friends that accompanied us are golfers and were thrilled with their options.
Having been visiting the Puerto Vallarta area for almost 20 years, we have seen much growth. We feel fortunate to have found this stunning, tranquil spot. Have actually already booked another stay this winter. Owner and staff are very accessible. Couldn't ask for more.

This place is really amazing. The house is gorgeous with a very interesting and open layout and quality craftsmanship throughout. The pool is lovely and always warm and clean. The beach is every bit as good as Sayulita, sans the crowds. Housekeeper comes every other day and keeps the place spotless, and there's tasty food nearby. We'd come back in a hot second.

Amazing beachfront property
We spent an amazing week over Christmas at this house. David was so great to work with. He was quick to answer all my questions before booking, and he was so kind to fulfill all of my requests, including providing a Christmas tree for our family. We are a family of 5 with kids ranging from 8-17. The house was beautiful, spacious, and accommodated us perfectly. The home is beautifully decorated, the beds were super comfortable, and the house was fully stocked with all the amenities, and even included beach chairs, boogie boards, surf boards, and towels.
The home is a short distance from both Punta Mita and Sayulita. It was fun to visit both towns, but the beach in front of the home was much better than the beaches in both those towns! It was not crowded, and it had great waves for boogie boarding and surfing, and nice sand.
David met us when we arrived, had great recommendations for places to eat, and even had a little arrival gift for us. There is a daily maid at the home, which I thought would be unnecessary, but it was actually so nice to have clean towels, beds made, and dishes done so we could relax and enjoy our vacation. She even provided us with the most delicious pico and guac when we arrived.
We loved spending our days going back and forth from the pool and beach, and enjoyed using the second kitchen for poolside meals. We also loved the large beachfront yard to relax on the hammocks and enjoy a bonfire.
We had such a wonderful week at this home, and loved everything about it! Great location, and we felt really safe! I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Family Trip
David’s house is beautiful and extremely thoughtfully decorated. David is very thoughtful as well. :) The house has all the essentials. There is an ocean view from every bedroom, kitchen and sitting area. Pool is wonderful. Beach is secluded except on Sundays. Horse back riders go ambulance about once a day. Good for Surfers and boogie boards but U must be a strong swimmer.
Lively Sayulita is about 10 mins drive. There are many great restaurants and quiet beaches to try within 5 minutes walk to 20 minutes drive. Si Senor was a favorite up scale but casual restaurant. El Barracuda (4-5 min drive) is a new but casual beach bar on a white sand, gentle quiet beach.- wonderful organic food. We took a private boat via “Ally Cat” out of Cruz de Huanacaxtle (10 min drive)- Very easy parking. Very nice crew. You can google all these for pics and reviews.
It’s an easy 50 min drive from PV w only a short stint of dirt road. Gecko car rental was surprisingly easy and overly helpful. Wonderful trip all together.

What a location for family and relaxation and recharging. Absolutely spectacular, the beach is beautiful and virtually private. Ocean clean, waves soothing and great for surfing and boogie boarding.
Maria was delightful; Eduardo built the most perfect beach bonfire I have ever seen. David, the host, could not have been more helpful or welcoming.
