Loved staying here, beautifully decorated and close to everything. Great text messaging system to make sure you have everything you need or want. I said it would be sweet if there was a microwave so I could make popcorn, etc and they brought one up!!! Really enjoyed the convenience of walking everyone and being right near independence hall and the liberty bell. I'd stay here again!

It was a decent stay and the staff are trying their best, but the hotel is way past-due for a refresher. Old torn carpets in the rooms and hallways. Old scratched up furniture and the elevators are absolutely nasty. The red carpet gives the hotel a haunted feel. Must smell all around. Maybe they are going for a historical look, but this is more of a lack of maintenance look. Positive side is the staff is really great and friendly.

The property is is need of many updates. There is noticeable wear and tear in all areas of the hotel. The listed price for valet doesn’t match what is charged and the fees added make the parking $18 more than advertised per night. The rooms were moderately stocked and needed to request towels. There was only one towel one hand cloth and one hand towel up check in. There was also confusion with my rates as the hotel never charged the deposits from the initial booking on Expedia. I would not stay at the hotel in the future. The quality of the stay does not match its price point.

Nice Hotel/Great Location

Very eclectic hotel; bright and colorful. Staff were friendly throughout the stay. Happy hour in the evening was a nice surprise. They offered various wines, had a whiskey tasting and snacks for free in the lobby/lounge. Great location for night life, restaurants and historical attractions in the city. This was my second time staying at this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Love this quirky hotel! It was my 3rd time staying here. The room upgrade to a SPA room was quite un-necessary though, as I did not have time to indulge. I've mentioned this and requested a late check-out instead , but unfortunately it was not granted. The TV remote did not work so I could not use the TV for the entire stay. The valet took 30 minutes to return my car (quite excessive!). The staff at the restaurant was aloof at best, the hostess quite annoyed with my request to change tables.

The Kimpton Monaco is beautiful, but the room's furniture and fixtures were covered in dust and the showerhead sprayed everywhere. I could've paid half the nightly rate and had a less dusty room with a proper shower.
