The property is very nice and I really enjoy the atrium. The room was spacious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Old Montreal, Hotel Nelligan is in a perfect location.

We have been staying here for 30 years. They are renovating now so only half the rooms are open. We were out for dinner and brought two couples back to the hotel for a nightcap at 1055! They close at 11 they said and would not serve us. It was super embarrassing having to show them back out.

This was a fantastic hotel…great staff, wonderful restaurant ( Mama C’s) beautiful room, gorgeous decor. My only area of improvement would be to turn the music down in the rooftop bar after 9:00 pm, especially on a Sunday night!

Hotel is showing its age. Lighting in the rooms is poor (very hard to put on make-up or shave). Location is terrific - all the old port and old Montreal interests are within easy walking distance. Hair dryer provided had a melt-down that was pretty scary. At checkout they told us that room renos were starting this week, so issues may be dealt with soon. Rooftop terrace restaurant is a fun place with decent food and Mama C restaurant has good food.

Hotel Nelligan is a beautiful hotel with several very lovely and delicious dining options. We enjoyed the location in Old Montreal with many shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. We would stay here again.
