Over the past few decades, I've stayed at the majority of hotels in Pismo Beach. Here's my review of the Lighthouse Suites. I would like to thank Vanessa at the front desk for putting tthis VIP in probably the worst room overlooking the noisy playground area and underneath the family that was constantly practicing for the "Riverdance" revival. I guess this is how they treat Expedia VIP members? Maybe if I were a Gold member, I'd get a room overlooking the noisy overclorinated pool. Okay, so the bottle of wine was a nice touch... too bad they only had white and I only drink red. I did particularly enjoy the snoring gentleman next door and my kids loved the woman constantly talking on her phone in the room next door. [/sarcasm] The aforementioned play area does have a variety of games for the young ones, so there's that. The views are nice as well. Unfortunately there are no places to sit to ENJOY the view unless you hit the boardwalk where there are lots of chairs and fire pits... at the other hotels. Okay, okay, say somehing NICE, Matt! Alright, the rooms ARE nice and big and your family will enjoy them, but be prepared, there are other families with undisciplined screaming children around. Forget going to the gym for your stairmaster workout as the 91 steps coming back from the lovely beach will do the trick. This was definitely cheaper than an Air-B-N-B but next time, I'll opt for Air-B-N-B

The check in was slow, we reached early but they told us room should be ready within 40 mnts, i waited with my family and kids around 3 hours, food was great , room was very good. Services and amenities was good too. But no ine told us there is 15 dollars parking fee

Great accommodation. Fantastic suite for a family of five with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one room with two queen beds and the other with one king. Reception staff really helpful and friendly, especially Kaylee who went above and beyond to help. Free use of beach boogie boards, beach chairs and parasols that you can collect from reception. Great and easy access to beach. Kaylee recommended Steve’s ATV rentals which were fantastic for quad biking on the sand dunes, kids had a great morning doing this. Nice to have breakfast included. $15 parking charge per day, but only stayed three days so this didn’t add up to too much. Overall we really enjoyed our short stay here, was very relaxing and the best accommodation we’ve been in that accommodates a family of 5.

Nice two-bedroom, two bath space with a balcony. Had fun games outside for all ages. Short walk to try beach and they provide chairs and other beach items. Pool was heated and had a hot tub. Breakfast was nice—waffles, eggs, breakfast meat, bagels etc

Great property with good views and excellent access to the beach. Rooms are however too close to each other. There are three floors and you can hear the flooring creaking above you unless you are on top floor. Overall a wonderful location!
