We had issues with WiFi and heat in our room. Didn’t notice the heat until the night and at that point, you might as well just use your bed covers until the morning. We loved the ambience of the hotel though.

The hotel was old, but clean. However, it took four tries before they got my key to work, and it is a big hotel, and my room was on the complete opposite side of where the registration desk was. After the third time of the key not working, I called the office and made them send the maintenance guy down to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong. He couldn’t get the key to work either, so he went and had another one made and that one finally worked. The next morning when I woke up to get a shower, the water was lukewarm at best. It is no fun taking a lukewarm shower when the outside temperature is 1°. Other than that, it wasn’t a horrible stay. They could do a little better on the beds as I could feel the springs and the mattress all night long.

There was no remote in the room. Called and was told they would bring one. Waited 4 hours and then went to the front desk to get one. There was a bug in the shower and no hot water When I checked out and told the front desk agent the issues she seem to shurg them off didn’t offer a discount or to get management to call me. Probably would pass on this hotel in the future

Staff were all friendly. We had a King Suite with a fireplace and a jetted tub, which were both very lovely. The room opened to the ballroom which was convenient for getting to the breakfast room and lobby, but not so convenient when the ballroom lights shined into our room all night. Breakfast was great the first morning but not as great the second morning. The worst part about breakfast was the temperature in the breakfast room. It was 57 degrees this morning, which was colder than the outdoor temperature the day we arrived! People were eating in their winter jackets. Our room didn’t have a shower curtain. We asked for one and it was put on the floor outside our room and we had to hang it ourselves, which we found odd. And we didn’t have housekeeping services even offered during our stay.
