East Shore Farmhouse

This 1832 Farmhouse is located on the East Shore of Grand Isle in the Lake Champlain Islands. Located right next to a family run and owned dairy farm. You can hear the cows mooing! Situated minutes from the lake, boat launches, state parks, beaches and 40 minutes from the city of Burlington! The view of the green mountains and lake can be seen from the many living spaces this home has to offer.
The space
The Farmhouse has two porches (front and back of house), a laundry room, full kitchen, garage, and mud room. There are 4 private bedrooms that can sleep up to 8 people and there is a futon in the living which can sleep an additional 2 guests. The mud room has a lot of closet space to keep your fishing poles, outdoor gear and shoes. Accessible from the mudroom or alternative entrance is a spacious one car garage which guests can use to store kayaks, bikes and a single car! The driveway onsite can park multiple cars, boat trailers and has a basketball hoop! There is also a fire pit located on the side of the house to the right of the garage. You must bring your own firewood!
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and yard except areas that are locked or blocked off. We ask that you are respectful of these boundaries indoors and outdoors. Our Farmhouse is located next to an operating dairy farm. Please respect these neighbors and hard working people. DO NOT go near machinery or cross property boundaries which are clearly marked and posted. Thank you!
Other things to note
There is a small gas grill on the back porch (propane tanks supplied) and a fire pit. There are 5 air conditioners throughout the house. The private bedrooms are each equipped with an AC as well as the living room!
