Sink was slow to drain. Showerhead was either slow trickle or narrow jet stream. Very slow sink drain. Closed sign on door labeled 24 hour fitness center. Breakfast changed from the last time we were here 2 years ago. Very limited options and no milk but they offered cereal. We did get milk on 3rd day after asking previous 2 days. OJ was basically just condensed OJ with little water mixed in so it was thick. Our keys did not work on each night of our 3 night stay so we had to go back down to front counter each evening to get keys re set to get in our room. Bar was nice but we saw a lady ( hostess?) behind hostess stand having a beer. Hotel staff friendly but seemed clueless.

The parking area was behind the property, but there was an entrance in the back that was easily accessable. The staff was great and very helpful. The room we were in was clean and roomy. Two cons that stopped me from giving 5 stars, was that the shower in the bathroom definitely needed some help, and there were no working vending machines on any floor accept the ice machine. So no place to buy water or soda. You could purchase soda and alcohol in the attached bar, however no water. They did give us coupons for two free drinks in the bar, which was nice.

First time in years I’ve actually been in a hotel room where the thermostat actually responds properly. TV works easily, too. Being in the middle of town, there’s a fair amount of street noise, but otherwise the hotel has all the basics. Fancy? No. Solid? I thought so.

Easy check in. Rooms x02-x10 are on the street side with some traffic noise. The others are on the rear-parking-lot side. Clean. Comfortable. Came with 2 free drink coupons (draft or wine with 4 options for “red”). Nice bar. Continental breakfast was very basic. Nothing fancy overall but well-priced and convenient to town and SU. Would stay again!
