The hotel is a little dated but everyone is so helpful and friendly and the grounds are wonderful (our dogs love the open field behind the hotel!!) and in the wonderful area of Shippensburg.

It is a cut below the other brand hotel close by as far as appearance and upkeep. Has a very ‘70s vibe to the rooms and common areas. Was serviceable at best. Staff friendly and extended our stay for late checkout without an issue.

Two story hotel with no elevator
The young man at the desk was very nice and held. But a two story hotel with no elevator is a no-go for seniors with luggage. We were switched to a room on the ground floor, but it was a smoking room and the smell was horrible, and my eyes were stinging and watery when I was there. It was too late and we were too tired, so we stayed the night anyway, but it was bad.

The hotel was perfect for a quick overnight stay. We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. Breakfast was satisfactory. We had a king bed which was very comfortable but we needed bigger pillows and they didn’t have any more to offer us! Overall good stay for the price!

Privacy is NOT paramount
The room itself was fine. Had some trouble with keeping a consistent temperature in the room though. My only complaint is that at 7:30 in the morning, housekeeping comes walking into my room! No knock or anything. I hears the lock disengage and called out "Hello"? The housekeeper then stammered "Oh, Uhm....do you need towels?" Annoyed I told them no. I then put the CHAIN on the door and they tried to walk in AGAIN 10 mins later!!!
