Galveston Getaway

Had such a wonderful trip. The house was absolutely lovely. Very clean, spacious and beautiful. Host was very nice and responded promptly to any questions. Great stay!

Weekend Getaway

We had such a great time staying here. The home is very nice, fully equipped for families, clean and quiet. The patio is perfect for the evenings. Within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We loved it and will be back!

Amazing place to stay!

This home is beautiful! We were well equipped for our stay.. comfy beds, plenty of space, an off-street parking spot and beautiful decor. Everything was clean, even the floors. Loved every moment here!!

Great stay

We enjoyed the house. The three king beds were a plus for us. Everything was in working order. We enjoyed the outdoor areas. Just a couple of blocks to the Seawall. A great place to stay

Great house, great location.

The house was exactly as advertized and served our needs perfectly. Being close, but not too close, to the seawall and Strand district provides the perfect combination of convenience and peacefulness. Will definitely rebook when back in Galveston.

Great Property and Location

This is a great property. Very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, and very homey. It’s a terrific location - 3 blocks from the seawall and 1 mile from the Strand. The property manager - David - was responsive, helpful, and delightful to work with. This will be our go to place to stay going forward when visiting Galveston.

Relaxing Stay

The property was clean and well cared for. We were only blocks from the beach front in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee. While the weather was cooler it was nicer then Wisconsin. Lots of great restaurants and shopping close by. David was quick with responses to our questions.

Exactly what we wanted!

The home is beautiful, super clean. Everything you could need is available. The beds are incredibly comfortable! 5 minute or less walk to the beach. We had the best time. And the hosts are amazing to work with. Definitely would stay again!

The Gem of Ave O

We’ve stayed in MANY houses on the island. Some truly beautiful, historic homes. None have been able to hold a candle to Chateau O. This property is truly magnificent.

Great location

House is in a great location, convenient to all things a family would want to do while visiting Galveston. We had a wonderful time. Owner is very responsive, going above and beyond. Our only complaints are kitchen sink faucet is loose and water didn't get ever get hot and pillows all need replacing. But everything else was perfect for our family. Thanks so much! We would definitely react again if we return to this wonderful city.

So cute & clean

This was the perfect house for our weekend stay for Mardi Gras! It was a hard drive to the strand. The house was super clean and really cute. Plenty of seating in the kitchen and living room for us to visit. The kitchen was so well stocked with all needed for cooking. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were soft and fluffy not stiff like so many hotels. My only suggest is take a blow dryer bc there’s only one upstairs and if you’re downstairs you have to track to go find it.

Beautiful home block from beach

Very nice layout with 3 extra large bedrooms, all with king sized, comfortable beds. Main floor with master bedroom & two additional bedrooms downstairs worked out perfect for our adult daughter & us. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking. Nice large dining table where we played games would fit many people. The back porch had nice seating and a small view of the gulf only a few blocks away. We absolutely had no issues with the home & stay instructions were clear & helpful. Convenient walking distance to restaurants on the Seawall. Exceptional vacation home!!

Family and Friends Cheer Competition

What a cool place to stay. Close to The Strand, Close to the beach. 3 Kingsize beds! Very well lit up motion detected yard for safety. Nicely decorated. This was perfect for us. Even had some games for us to play during downtime. Not really a complaint but one of the bedrooms circulation is not very good. However host provided an extra fan in the closet. All in all a great stay. Thanks again.

Holiday getaway

The property and location were great and made it so easy to spend time with family who live in Galveston as well as getting to any location easily. We loved the nice chairs out on the deck and being able to pull the car in behind the fence each night. Some suggestions to make the property more comfortable for future rentals... A) Have extra blankets especially in the cooler months, extra pillows and cozy bedding for sleeping comfort. B) The outdoor grill was extremely dirty from previous guests both with food left on the rack and so much build up that it smoked like crazy. C) The downstairs ensuite bathroom tub/shower is clogged and also very slippery when using, it could use a bath mat in the tub. D) Having some instructions posted on adjusting the smart thermostates would be helpful. E) The tv in the living room was great and allowed great access to what we wanted to watch. We would have liked tvs in the bedrooms. When traveling with all adults sometimes you just need to have your own space for a while and tvs in the rooms would be nice for that. Thank you for a nice stay! Overall we enjoyed our time at your home and in Galveston!
