Galveston Spring Getaway

We came down to Galveston for a few days of relaxation. We have stayed in the Bermuda Beach neighborhood twice before, but never directly on the beach. Loved the view! The house was clean and inviting. We appreciated the gate on the deck so our little dog was safe. The host was very accommodating. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Galveston Beach vacation

This place is a gem - clean, neat, smells good, everything there that we needed and right on the beach! We spent more time on the veranda looking at the ocean and listening to the surf than we did inside the house. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Checkout was detailed and easy. Showers with good water pressure. A Keurig! Comfortable bed. Flashlights for ghost crab hunting! Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay and highly recommend it to everyone.

This is a beautiful property and looks just the same in person as online. The views of the beach and sunrise are amazing. It is about 1 minute from property to the beach. The beach is kept very clean by Galveston island personnel. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry are very well stocked. We wanted for nothing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Location Location Location!

Steps away from water, comfortable beds, short drive to town. The host were very responsive and accommodating. Lots of fog/haze during our stay with some glimpses of sun sprinkled in. House is located in front of drive-up public beach access, but you can walk a short distance to where no vehicles can come. We enjoyed our visit!

Lovely house right on the beach

This house is located right on the beach and is well-equipped with everything you need. The space was very clean and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The communication and information provided by the hosts was timely and helpful. This was a winter stay, and we encountered some stormy weather (and brief area power outages); but we stayed cozy in the house. If you are a coffee drinker, bring extra pods or coffee; both types of coffee makers are available.

Location is key!

We’ve stayed in hotels, condos and houses in Galveston and this was by far the best rental we’ve stayed in thus far. The location was THE BEST, especially since we had my 80 year old in laws with us. Being, literally, steps from the beach was a life saver for them. The house was very well equipped with dishes and towels and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The dehumidifier was a nice touch to keep the house from having that sticky humid feeling 24/7 (just remember to empty it!). Overall a very enjoyable stay and we’d highly recommend for anyone looking to stay directly on the beach.

Knick of Time

We sort of ended up at this house by accident. We had booked a different property initially and had to relocate. I contacted Pam to see if she could work with us so we had a place to store all of our perishable items when vacating our current house to this one, and she was so generous with the timing. We happened to be there during some pretty high waters due to tropical storms in the gulf and so the beach wasn’t super accessible but we made the most of our time. Even though this wasn’t our planned vacation home and the beach was unavailable for the majority of the trip, it was one of our favorite Galveston homes- and we travel to Galveston A LOT! The house is very well appointed with everything you will need. It’s clean, the rooms are comfortable, there are plenty of towels! It is just great. We also loved the kids room with 3 twin beds. It was perfect for our kids that need their own space for sleeping! The deck chairs that are raised up (we didn’t understand them at first) are GENIUS! The beautiful view into the gulf is top notch! The house is really close to town so you can enjoy all the fun of Galveston. We will certainly be back- hopefully with better weather next time!

Beach front

We had a great stay in this comfy beach house. The covered deck facing the ocean was fabulous. Kitchen is well stocked with all essentials. Owners were very helpful and responsive. We had 4 adults and two young children. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group. We would happily stay here again.

Another top notch stay on the beach !

This trip was our 4th time to rent this beach house. It has become our go-to rental for our visits to Galveston. The property is ideally situated and well kept and very well stocked. The owners are very helpful and obviously take pride in their property. Thank you again Pam and Richard for another great vacation ! We'll be booking again in the near future.

Amazing views!

We had a fantastic stay! The beach was just steps away and the views from the deck were amazing! It was very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed some beach time - looking for shells and taking walks on the beach. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Pam & Rick also provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Family beach trip

This was our third stay at this beach house. Perfect for our family. Access to beach and view can’t be beat. Owners are very helpful and respond to questions quickly. They are working to make some repairs to the property.
