Brisbane Manor Hotel
"I am from out of town and always try to stay at the Brisbane Manor House when I have an appointment at the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital because it is so close to the hospital. Give that the building is quite old, it is very well maintained. The room double bed room with shared amenities was spacious, the sheets were very white and clean, without any rips, tears or stains and were ironed. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. There was a flat screen television facing the bed, altough I did not need it, it is one of the touches that I like. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, plus there was a row of windows that opened, so if I chose I could have fresh air instead, which I appreciated very much. The windows opened and closed easily and were undamaged. The carpets were clean, as was the benches. A spare pillow and blanket were in the cupboard. Although I had not noticed on check-in, there were no towels in the room at 7am when I checked out early. The office was still closed at that time. I didn't contact management as I didn't want to make a fuss, but when I came back to collect my car, in the small car park, I alerted the receptionist who said he would follow up with housekeeping and apologised for ommision. There is a full commercial kitchen down stairs, which I didn't need. I really enjoy staying at the Brisbane Manor House because, not only is it handy, inexpensive it is also comfortable. I did not use the free wi-fi this trip."
