Great service, location, and price.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, refrigerator, microwave, great service
Cons: no elevator
Marriot was offering this room during the Ft. Worth Stock Show at a very reasonable price a month before the event, which I have attended for the last 23 years. Although I normally stay at a cheaper hotel, this was the same price, and just as close to the event. I enjoyed my stay immensely. They had mini-frig, microwave, free in-room internet, and a bistro in the hotel. The only negative was no elevator to the second floor, so you do have to carry your luggage up stairs. They offered to help me with it, though, so it was no problem. As long as you can climb stairs, this place is a great buy.

Great Location Nice Accomodations

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I needed a place as a stop over on my way home from vacation. The room was great nice size and even had a patio. I felt safe and it was close to dining and night life. I would definitely stay again!

Quick trip to see TCU

Great for the price and a quick visit to TCU. Not a resort, just a quick, clean stop. I thought bed was comfortable.

Marriott South University

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The Marriott right by the Zoo was very nice and convenient. I worked from the lobby during the day, which is a nice lobby. I was able to go to the restroom and leave all of my belongings and the Marriott staff said they would watch for it. The rooms are typical Courtyard rooms. Nothing fancy, exactly what I expected. The location is great being close to the Zoo, TCU and downtown. Very satisfied.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Excellent location and comfortable. The staff was friendly as well as competent. The bed linens were soft, and the pillows were unusually good. We also enjoyed the pool. We will be back.

Great Experience

This hotel is very nice with a very friendly & accommodating staff. Also, very conveniently located to the Will Rogers Memorial Center where we were having an event, as well as TCU, the zoo, and lots of shopping & restaurants. When booking, the travel agency listing didn't specify whether or not the rooms had one king bed or two queens. I booked 3 rooms & need 2 beds in 2 of the rooms. The travel agency rep placed a call to the hotel & told me that I just needed to call them the wk of to request the 2 beds. Of course, when I called they said that wasn't the case...I was a bit upset, but the Manager came out & spent about 20 min. with us figuring out where they had a couple of rooms available with 2 beds. It wasn't his fault that there was mis-communication, but he was very nice & worked to fix us up. We really appreciate that! I would definitely stay there again.

Overall a good stay .

We got in around 10 pm. with 3 young kids. I hope they had put linens on the pullout sofa bed . For the price, we hoped b'fast would have been included. Extra staff is needed on the cafe bar the morning we were there. He was swamped, but very nice man and service. The only problem is there is train that is passing by every hour or so continuously.

Awsome Weekend

My husband an i stayed two nights here on Memorial Day weekend. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The whole place has been remodeled from the Pella sliding doors to the new furniture that added a refrigerator to our room. It rained so we didn't get to enjoy the pool like we hoped but it was clean and very pretty. A few smaller children enjoyed the pool. The morning breakfast is not included in your room price. It's a great breakfast buffet with everything from fruit and muffins to eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles and oatmeal. It was great and at $12 per person we ate there both days. Still thought it was suppose to be includeded from what I had read online before we went. I enjoyed our balcony with patio doors that opened. Beds are great very comforatable just like home. No complaints here.
