Great hotel and staff - a little hard to find!

Pros: Really close to everything we needed - great for TCU family visits.
Cons: This hotel was in a great location, but a little hard to find at first and then hard to figure out how to get around from the particular location.
Location: TCU very close, easy drive to cultural district, West 7th area and downtown.
Not on the beaten path, but really close to all we needed to see and do in Fort Worth (TCU area). Staff amazing and helpful, rooms clean and nice. Perfect for traveling families.

Race weekend

Cons: Guests here for a race, start times at 0700-0730, are gone before breakfast is out. Please take this into and maybe change times for race day.
Location: Plenty of restaurants nearby-great!!
Very nice accommodations. Staff were friendly. We explained that we were here for a race and would miss out on the breakfast. Asked for us to speak with Chris the next morning and he would probably pull stuff out of the kitchen. This did not happen, but we helped ourselves to what was out. Besides this everything else was great.

The hotel room easy fine and staff is friendly.

The breakfast served was horrible. Rotten strawberries, powdered eggs, I think the boiled eggs had been previously frozen. Also, was was the Canadian bacon floating in water. Definitely substandard.

We always enjoy The SpringHill Swites in Ft. Worth.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
We have been staying at the SpringHill Marriott since it first opened. It has been the nicest and cleanest hotels in that area. Our stay is always very enjoyable and comfortable. It is close to all the areas we enjoy visiting i.e. the Stockyards, Museums, Downtown and many wonderful eating establishments and shopping areas. No doubt about it, as long as we visit Ft. Worth we will always stay there.

Waste of money

Terrible rock hard beds. Interstate traffic noise was unbearable. Find somewhere else, there are plenty of hotels in the area.

Fun in Ft. Worth

Although somewhat difficult to find, the Springill Suites is a great place to stay if you are doing something at TCU. The hotel is clean; rooms are large; bed is comfortable; amenities are nice; there is a single serve coffee maker in the room; and the morning breakfast is very nice. Hot items as well as cold items. The coffee is good - unlike some hotel coffee that just looks like coffee. The front staff are helpful and friendly. I stayed in a room overlooking the freeway and you could hear the freeway. I was tired though so it did not keep me awake. Evidently on the other side of the hotel, you are kept awake by a train that passes periodically during the night. There are several nice restaurants close to the hotel as well as shopping. I will be returning to the Springhill Suites as it is a good value and convenient not only to TCU but also the downtown Ft. Worth.

Good, convenient location -- no-frills

This was a decent hotel ... the biggest drawback is that it's close to train tracks, and you can hear them occasionally during the night. The pool is small and very sunny - both good and bad. The staff is friendly and helpful; the free breakfast is better than most; and I loved the semi-separate desk and kitchenette area. Very convenient when you have young kids who go to bed early! Location is convenient to downtown, zoo, and museums - without having to pay for downtown valet services.
