The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very mediocre. There are stains in the bathtub and no trashcan in the room. A little bit of a rundown hotel that’s mainly for blue color workers to stay at as they are on the job. The coffee pot was disgustingly gross. But for the price, I guess it was OK. Would not be staying here again.

Staff was really pleasant and accommodating, specially the woman who checked us in, Shaniqua. She regularly checked in on us to make sure everything was to our liking throughout both days that I stayed here with my son. The property itself was a bit of a mix between modern and dated, as were the amenities. But everything was clean, functioned as it should, and provided what we needed. On site laundry was free and so convenient. The front desk also offered some detergent for purchase so I didn’t need to go out of my way. The area itself has a bit of a homeless community surrounding it, but overall still felt very safe. They don’t offer breakfast at this Sonesta, but there’s a few food items for purchase at the front, a lot of common restaurants just a couple of minutes down the street, and places to shop for your basic cooking necessities. I was here for my son’s football tournament and everything was at our disposal. I would definitely recommend this place, the price is great for what you get.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!

It was disappointing I always stay at Sonesta & I recommend them to everyone. I've stayed in mostly Texas the best Sonesta by far was in San Antonio. The cleanliness, the service, more updated, breakfast, modern feel. This one is Ft. Worth was "ghetto". It smelled musty, the bathroom & kitchen were old, broken cabinets, & the elevator was gross! I will never stay there again! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

Did NOT want to LEAVE!! 💔

Edit- certainly not complaining bc I loved this place. But. - If paying at hotel, please know there are many types of credit/debit cards that they don’t take. I had to have someone drive an hour to come use their card for me (and change reservation into their name). .- I had an amazing stay though! Staff were awesome! Especially Esmeralda and Krystal. Very attentive. Esmeralda’s went above and beyond to find some needed items. She did it right away! You DO have to ask for some items that should already be in the room. But they ended up getting the dishes and cookware for me so no biggy. *** To address anyone complaining about the company booking them for a room and then they were told that all rooms were full, once they got there. It is the 3rd party companies doing that…. Not Sonesta. I was there when people were coming in and complaining about there not being available rooms after they had already booked a room. But they booked with Expedia/Hotels.com and such. The staff felt terrible about it but there was nothing they could do. Expedia/Hotels.com and like companies were at fault. Sonesta was great! Oh and there was a homeless guy trying to hang out at the bbq pit/smoke area. It was a little uncomfortable when he started asking me over and over again about wanting to go to the store for me and asking for stuff. Luckily it was only a couple of minutes and here comes staff (Shaniqua) asking him so politely to please leave since he was not a guest there. Grateful!!

The service at the front desk was EXCELLENT! My toilet was clogged and the girl (I’m sorry I forgot her name) she offered to switch our rooms and I said I was to to tired and she offered to help us move our stuff! She went above and beyond! We didn’t switch but the whole staff went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was the tvs were old and very dark you could barely see the picture and one of the tvs I couldn’t hook up my roku. I ended up having to watch my phone.

I felt safe in this area, I also was able to walk in the area for exercise. There was plenty of parking available. I arrived on Saturday and it was great for the quietness until a group of men with some type of sports group arrived. Some had hover boards and you could hear them when they were riding it banging on the floor. Also, some were on the same floor as me and would be in the hallway talking loudly. This is not the hotel's fault, this shows the home training of the young men who had no respect for others. Otherwise my stay was pretty good, although I could tell that the cleaning staff did not clean the room very well because there was dust and dirt on some items. I just cleaned them myself, but what do you expect for the price? The front desk was professional and nice. I loved the "black-out" curtains and could wake up whenever I wanted with no sunshine in my room.
