It was not indicated that the hotel was under construction. There were additional charges (TWICE) to my credit card for 'amenities' of which I did not use...not even the tiny soaps or room coffee! Extra thirty bucks charged! Then...there is no parking outside of a parking garage...which was okay. Bit of a walk to the hotel from garage...little scary at night. Parking garage was charged extra as well.

Beautiful view of Cathedral

Pros: All of the above comments are included in my reasons for liking the hotel. The location was perfect as it was easy to walk to many sites Good gym
Cons: The carpet could have been cleaner The pool did not appear to be very inviting. The water was green and looked dirty. I never saw anyone in the pool
Location: McDonald's Starbucks, and beautiful Botanical Gardens are all withing walking distance as well as the Grand Wayne restaurant and other eateries.
The room had a beautiful picture window facing south with a spectacular night view of a lit up Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. The cleaning staff were all friendly and helpful and did a good job.. Counter staff were openly friendly and graciously welcoming.
