The Room was fine for the size but the furniture looked like it has been there for 20 years worth of guests beating on it. The TV was smaller than my monitor and it used an old cable guide you had to wait for it to scroll to figure out what was on, and hopefully you don't miss the channel you were looking for. I had 2 lamps that didn't even work. and the lamps looked like they could fall off the wall at any moment. All rusted metal on them as well. The thermostat up button would stick without you noticing and go to 96 degrees randomly. Turning it back down worked after a few minutes working with it. Lastly, I tried to check in at 3 pm when you are allowed to and they told me the room was still being cleaned. so after about an hour of waiting, AND they were supposed to text me when it was ready and didn't, I stopped back by and it happened to be ready now. Certainly a never again hotel for me.

This property is undergoing updates, which should have been done long ago. We stayed for three nights and were placed in four different rooms. The first room had bed bugs, so they attempted to relocate us to a second room that was not properly equipped for guests. Next, we were moved to a third room with double beds, even though we had reserved a king-size bed. This room was adequate until we encountered a plumbing leak, which necessitated another move to a fourth room, also featuring double beds. All of these rooms had outdated furnishings. Each was missing one thing or another. It was a very disappointing experience. We paid Hampton Inn prices and got roadside motel quality.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel two weeks ago for several days. We also stayed there on 3/19 on the first floor. While we understand there is a planned makeover for the hotel, we were underwhelmed by the status of the carpet, wallcovering, cleanliness, etc. of the first floor and the room. Carpet was stained, wallcovering peeling, room phone sporadically working, juice machine in breakfast area not filled up by 7:00 am (I had to talk to front desk to get the girl back to fill it up since she wasn't even on site).

Quieter side of Ft. Lauderdale

The hotel was away from the bustle of the Ft. Lauderdale beach area - perfect for us. A mall, many restaurants and a grocery store are all within walking distance of the hotel. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was as expected. Only downside was that the room / bathroom could use some updating. All in all, I would return to this hotel again if my travels take me to the Ft. Lauderdale / Miami area in the future.

I was given a key for a room someone was already in. I booked 3 nights at this hotel for my friend, her toddler son and myself. I arrived early to see if any rooms was available however there wasn’t any so I return at check in time and the same nice lady checked me in(forgot her name). Got up to the room, open the door and the toddler runs straight inside the room. I had to tell the toddler come quickly as I saw a suitcase and shoes in the room. At this time I hear a gentleman voice say hello and I said “oh sorry wrong room”. The whole situation was extremely scary and could have turn out bad in a sound. What if the guy had a firearm and shoot us for entering his room. Went downstairs and told front desk what happened. They said no one suppose to be in the room and called which the gentleman answered and said he had checked in the night prior. We sat in the lobby waiting on them to find another room which took them some time until the nice lady who checked us in told her colleague that we had a function to attend. Got checked in to a room 2 doors down. The lotion dispenser had dust on it so clearly the rooms wasn’t being clear properly. No one identify themselves as the manager during this whole issue. This is my first time staying at this hotel and I would never stay there again

The closet in the room was dirty and smelly. The bathroom could use more clesning. The furniture in the room is dated. The corridors and public areas could do with a lot of TLC. Not worth the cost of the room.
