Costa resort was an excellent choice! From the extreme cleanliness to complimentary beach chairs and beach towels. Also, great security around resort. Very short walk to boardwalk/beach!

Great helpful staff, the on site restaraunt and happy hour was awesome! Steps from the beach and boardwalk. Stayed in a 2 BR ocean view room and it was wonderful. Pool heated and nice, jacuzzi was small but enjoyable. Everything you need is here!

Overall, this was a decent place. The chair and umbrella beach service was nice. The room was clean at check-in, but we couldn't get it cleaned all week. You have to request housekeeping 24 hours in advance. That would have been fine, except the the dishwasher was broken, our trash was overflowing. We couldn't get fresh towels. We had to ask a housekeeper in the hallway for some. No one showed up to clean the room. Despite all of that, our stay was good and our family had a nice trip.

We had bugs on the counters and we immediately turned around and left. We received no apologies. We called Travelocity and they hung up and then sent us to voice mail when we called back. So now I will need to challenge all the charges after the hotel said we would not be charged. Travelocity has charged us as well.

When we arrived we were told that our room was upgraded to one bedroom. We were tired and didn’t pay attention immediately that this upgrade meant the windows and balcony faced the well between the walls and other rooms without even a glimpse of the sea or even a street. Besides, we even could not open the windows or use the balcony because the hotel air conditioning installation was working right in our faces. We also were unpleasantly surprised that although we paid for the beach amenities, an additional fee was taken for the beach umbrella.

Everything was good. A few minor issues in the room: the black out curtains in the main room were falling. They came to fix it with duct tape - as it was fixed that way before. After they fixed one side the next day the other side ripped. It was livable but mildly annoying as I didn’t want to deal with them fixing it again. So left it down. There appears to also be some electrical issues running the stove, or washing machine or dishwasher. I think there is a short because when the washing machine was running at the same time as the oven the washing machine reset. As did the oven. Other than that everything was good. But I put 4 stars as these issues are concerning and also annoying to deal with on vacation.
