Great location right on the ocean. Beautiful grounds with a fantastic restaurant setting right on the beach. However, the rooms are definitely showing their age and in need of a makeover.

Beachcomber is a very cozy and comfortable hotel right on the beach. We booked an ocean view room, and it did not disappoint. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept well on the firm pillow top mattress, with plenty of pillows and high quality soft bedding. We were pleased with the room's amenities and the private patio. The staff were wonderful, the property was beautiful and relaxing with it's outdoor features, and we felt very safe and comfortable. The only problem we had was that the wifi connection was not 100% from our room, sometimes it was spotty. And our cell phones did not get phone service in our room. We had to move toward the front of the property to get AT&T service. If I was going to travel to this area in the future, I would probably book this same hotel again.

It’s a nice hotel, with 2 pools, a restaurant and direct access to the beach. Cabanas, beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent for an all-day fee ($5-$20). On a good sunny day, you can stay all day at the beach, since they offer bar and food service there. Room was small, but clean and comfy. Food was awesome :) We had a great time there.

Great beach

Beach was beautiful. Hotel older, needs some upgrading. Room was small but clean. Needs more mirrors besides the one in bathroom. Bathroom was so small no way for 2 people to get ready at the same time. A mirror out in the room would be helpful. Food was disappointing, overcooked, and over priced. Drinks way too expensive and not very good.

Decent for the cost

It's an older hotel. pool is decent the tiki bar is small. Breakfast and lunch is priced okay but dinner is crazy overpriced. Staff was nice and king bed was comfortable. Ac broke but man at late night desk was quick to move us and apologize.

Really nice hotel on the beach

Pros: We liked that you never had to leave the hotel for anything if chose not to. The restaurant was right in the hotel with indoor or outdoor dining.
Cons: No improvements needed that we saw.
Location: The location was convenient to anything you might need.
Stayed here with my daughter during spring break and loved that it wasn't crowded with college kids. It was quiet and very relaxing. The staff was great and very helpful. My daughter was so glad she had chosen this hotel and so was I.

Loved the resort

My husband and I just spent 6 days here on a belated honeymoon trip. I loved the old European style of the room. We had an interior room but we could see the ocean from the window. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was great. Prices of course being a resort especially for drinks was a little high. Loved having the beach right there and the two pools. I wish there was more to do in the area with only one shopping center across the street. I would definitely come back!

Terrible experience...

Pros: Beach location and cleanliness were about the only thing here that was pleasing.
Cons: The hotel was clean and is right on the beach which is what we were looking for. The hotel could use a remodeling soon but I’ve stayed in worse that got a 5 Star. The waiters/waitresses, groundskeepers, and cleaning staff are helpful, courteous, and polite. However, the management is something else. Every night, there was either a domestic dispute or someone partying a little too hard and became loud and disturbing. It was nearly impossible to sleep comfortably at night. We were forced to deal with that at night, and also suffer with the constant lingering scent of burning marijuana. Not only was the marijuana scent in the hallway but we also woke up to it entering our room through the floor and walls. Maintenance came to the room to figure out where the scent was coming from and discovered it was from the room below. He acknowledged the fact that there definitely was marijuana being smoked inside the building and advised us that he had smelled the scent out in the hallway for several days prior to our stay. Complaints to the front desk / management had obviously fell on deaf ears. They supposedly took care of the situation however; we woke up the next morning to the smell of burning marijuana in the hallway once again. Parking was ok and we were always able to find a spot in the lot. It was a rip off to rent the beach chairs or umbrellas ($20 for 2 chairs and an umbrella per day) but the same chairs that were at the pools were complimentary. How thoughtful. The toilet was th
