There was a pile of sand behind the bathroom door when we walked in, and the sink area is in need of replacing. Bathroom door has warped from humidity, gets a bit stuck and needs a good push. Overall it’s good for a night, breakfast was typical for hotels, easy location to get to and from. With a few updates and cleaning attention it would be a great stay."

"I really like this hotel. It's a great Mendocino combination of rustic and comfort. The rooms are large; mine had a balcony with a one-of-a-kind view and a fireplace, which I used last night when it was chilly. The staff is helpful, the room was quiet, and the bed very comfortable. I enjoy the walk down directly from the hotel to Noyo Harbor to explore. It's my go-to place when visiting Mendocino/Fort Bragg."
