Nice room with baloney. Inconvenience with no air conditioner - room was hot. if you want to cool off you have to open baloney door and get boxed fan they provide which was damaged and on last leg.Stairs getting to room were confusing and hard to climb- like a maze. So if you have hard time getting around, I don't recommend this hotel to stay. Staff was great and room was cleaned good. Confused allot of hotel guess on the breakfast thing, grab and go. thanks for free breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The room had a stunning ocean view, a beautiful hot tub, and a private balcony perfect for watching the sunset each evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful—special thanks to Catherine for going above and beyond during our visit. However, there were a few downsides. The noise from the nearby highway was noticeable, especially at night. There were also people partying late in the adjacent state beach parking lot, which disrupted the peace a bit. Additionally, the presence of homeless individuals under the nearby bridge, right near our door, felt somewhat unsafe at times. With a few improvements to the surrounding environment, this would be an ideal coastal getaway.

A nice hotel with old charm. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the take away food for breakfast. We was fortunate to be at the ends and the view was unbeatable. It would be great if we had air conditioning in our room as it does get warm in there. We left the sliding door open during the night to air it out and it worked out fine.

Great view

Really enjoyed the view and this location is close to restaurants. Also a short drive to Mendocino. Minor downsides: parking area is cramped, you will have to use stairs to access any room, no elevator.

We had one of the larger rooms with hot tub- the room is starting to show its age a bit but the property is well cared for, and the bed and room were very comfortable. There was some noise from being so close to Hwy 1, but it wasn’t horrible. Parking is a bit sparse when the hotel is full. Staff doesn’t seem to care too much, but the housekeeping was nice.

We found this to be more motel like in terms of cleanliness. The carpets smelled dirty, especially when the room heated up. It wasn’t super clean. you are paying for a great view, but it was overpriced for the quality. They close at 10pm, so no way to get a key if you come in later than that. The staff was great though.
