I believe it was a busy weekend so the staff seemed a bit worn from that. The indoor pool/hot tub which was a main draw for the short trip was non-operational with the stafg not able to provide a timeline. The room itself was nicely appointed and clean. It os a bit outside of downtown Fort Bragg and not really a walkable distance. It is about a mile to the ocean and great Northern California coast. Due to the weekend being busy no accommodation was provided for either an early check in after a long drive, nor a late checl out after the Snunk train.

Beautiful area, the front desk staff was rude, when we had an issue with the fireplace control knob and not being able to shut the fireplace off so that we didn’t overheat at night. We went to the front desk to report and show the broken knob to the front desk. The guy literally accused us of breaking the knob and was rude and basically called us liars. There was no room for us to change to and he was unwilling to help. Really surprised us because and disappointed us

Checkin around 2:10pm. Nobody was at front desk for almost 10mins. Couldn’t find my reservation went back and forth asking name. Front desk Jennifer was telling me I was too early for checkin. Other than that every thing else was great.

The room was clean and well maintained. We used the pool and the hot tub and enjoyed both. The breakfast was good had a good verity they hot stuff was kept fresh. When we went to bed eat the second night we didn’t have any problems with noise. Would stay there again if we were in the area.
