This hotel was truly the highlight of our trip to Italy. After several disappointing experiences with other hotels, this was the only place that met our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we had hoped for. Because of how good this hotel was, we actually chose to extend our stay instead of risking booking another hotel in a different city. We even made a day trip to Venice and returned the same night, just to stay here again. That says everything about how much we appreciated this place. It was the only consistently positive experience during our 10-day trip. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again

This was a wonderful hotel! Just a stones throw away from Florence’s main station (Santa Maria Novella) and within easy walking distance to all of the main sites. My hotel room was impeccably clean, and very quiet. The decor was stylish, the bed was comfortable, although the Italians have the strange habit of a top sheet and a bottom sheet between the duvet (no actual duvet cover/bedspread that you can close on one side). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good, if not particularly wide selection. They did make cappuccinos that were fabulous. My one critique for the hotel is that the hot water was a little spotty and the hot breakfast options weren’t very warm. This is minor, and both issues were quickly resolved. If you’re looking for a charming, centrally located hotel in Florence, this is it!

If you stay here you’ll love it. It’s clean, comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average to good. I’d say the only thing too improve about the breakfast would be the following: 1) The pastries and cakes could be more fresh. 2) The bacon and ham products were next to the scrambled eggs and cheeses, which means the scrambled eggs had the bacon smell and steam on it. And the serving cutlery may easily become cross contaminated with pork which might be a problem for those that don’t eat pork. Having said that, the service was excellent and they ask you each morning what coffee you’d like and they make it fresh from their espresso machine. We can confirm the coffees made were excellent; only on the first and second day it was more lukewarm but the following days they were hot and great.

The hotel’s location is perfect—just a 3-minute walk from the train station and a 5-minute walk from the historic center of Florence. The room is a bit small, but it is very clean.
