Excellent place to stay. Best location I have ever had on a vacation to a major city! So close to everything. Apartment was super clean and comfortable. Can't wait to come back and stay again one day!

Location! Location! Location

Our stay at Sant Ambrogio was really great! The location couldn’t have been better. The Duomo was a 3-4 minute walk. Around the corner was a small piazza with lots of restaurants, shopping and the cooking class we had booked! There was Plenty of space and the terrace was wonderful. Irene and her staff were amazing! The shower drained very slow and Irene reaponded immediately with 2 separate repair people to resolve the issue. We were in Florence during the hottest week and were so grateful for the perfect a/c! The only issue was the unexpected 4 flights of steps! It was tough, but we survived! This is a great place to stay if you like to be in the center of it all!

Not that great of an experience. One of the bathroom showers didn’t drain, which resulted in the bathroom flooding. The place is located next to a night club - very loud well after midnight. The entrance was tricky to find. Once inside the main doors off of the street, there were a lot of stairs to hike up.

Walk out the door and you’re staring at the Duomo

Right in the heart of the old city. You can see the Duomo as you step out the door and it’s about 4 minutes down the street. Went across the river for dinner and that was only a fifteen minute walk.Only spent one night but had everything me and my kids needed. Was really nice to be able to do some laundry during our stop there.
