Well I can’t rate the reef at the Atlantis because they over booked and had to move us to the main royal resort. It worked out and I demanded resort credits which I did receive 450 dollars but it’s not right that you book one resort and they give you the bait and switch routine! Everything about this property is amazing! Architecture, rooms, pools, beaches, and aquariums were all top notch!! Spent a week there and probly still have things to see our that we missed. Only thing we didn't like is that it is very very expensive. We went as a family of four and an average meal on the resort would run us a minimum of $100. The rooms had a kitchenette and this helped a ton. We were able to go to some of the local grocery which cut back on the spending but it's hard to want to cook on vacation. Staff was great all over the resort and very helpful when needed. Would definitely consider staying here again but would need to save a bit more next time around. Highly recommend though!

we stayed at the atlantis the reef hotel from feb 20-25. our flight was delayed by 9 hours and when we landed we were told that the hotel has been overbooked and we couldn’t get our original booking and we were relocated to the coral towers which was not an upgrade but a huge downgrade. we were so shocked that we experienced this after such a long travel day..we paid for ocean view and did not get that room we wanted. another problem we had was at one of the restaurants in the cove the menu was a different price than what the bill came out and we were surprised and had to inform the staff and they had to change it so be aware of that. overall the resort is expensive and not worth it

The reef was beautiful and so great to have a kitchen as we packed our own snacks / food. The reef is very close to the beach and 2 great pools that are more quiet than the centre of the resort.

I think this is the best hotel of the bunch. it's off at the end so its quieter than the others. its a bit of a walk to the rest but worth it to me. only down side but that's for all the hotels is when someone smokes out on a balcony, everyone smells it and you can't enjoy the fresh ocean air. I don't think smoking is allowed but people do it and not enforced. but the Reef has Starbucks or Continental breakfast or there's a small convenience store there.

Stayed at The Reef February 2025 for 10 days. The Reef was wonderful the staff was friendly and very helpful. When we arrived the fridge in our room did not work, we called down to the desk and a new fridge was brought right up. I can't wait to go back!!!!

I booked the Reef, but when I arrived, I was told there was a glitch in the system, so I was moved to the Royal instead. Overall, I enjoyed my vacation, but I did have my eye on staying at the Reef, enjoying the cozy private beach and pool areas, and having specific dining options closer. I would still recommend it, as the entire premises are beautiful.

The entire property is well kept and the Reef is very convenient for families. The beach and pool felt safe and really nice. Dining is a bit pricey but did not disappoint. We will definitely return.

Property is very spread out so expect a lot of walking from activity to activity. For example:getting from reef to kids slide area with stroller and 6 yr olds took 20 minutes. Eating options for families after 5 are in short supply. All restaurants on premises are booked. Beaches are lovely and zero entry kids pools are great. We were very impressed with service and staff.
