Also we had to leave 1 day early due to bad weather and a long drive. The host refunded part of our last day without us even asking. That was so kind. She is also quick to respond."

"If you’re traveling with dogs, this place is a gem. The house is spacious and comfortable (3 bedrooms), the main bedroom has a very comfy king bed, and the kitchen is big and fully equipped. The living room was cozy and we loved the table tennis setup in the garage.The location is perfect — about 20 minutes to the Palo Duro Canyon State Park entrance and still convenient to Amarillo. But the best part for us was the land: 5 acres gave our dogs plenty of safe space to roam around the house without bumping into other dogs, and it felt remote and quiet (away from roads), which was exactly what we wanted.One small note: there was some sand on the windows and along the walls near the entrance. It seems like a “comes with the territory” thing for this area, and it didn’t affect our stay. Overall, we’d absolutely stay here again."
