I hate going to a place where you are not even acknowledged by the first person you meet. First impressions by front end staff are everything.

Pros: we were on the 3rd (top) floor so it was really quiet. Cons: Bed sheets had dried blood stain on them. There was dried boogers on the wall by the bed. Bathroom drywall was peeling in a large spot by the sink. Very outdated. I guess You get what you pay for.

I booked on line, based on some decent reviews and the very low rate compared to the many other hotels in the area. We booked 2 nights, one on the way to vacation and one returning. First room was missing a bed, but the headboard was still attached to the wall. Second room, one of the beds had a very dirty sheet, like mud or something was on them, at the foot of the 'sleeping on' sheet. The TV remote did not work with the very large wall mounted TV. The toilet ran, so you had to jiggle the lever to stop the tank from not filling. The buffet breakfast had zero hot items, no eggs, not bacon or sausage, the muffins available looked like they were purchased across the street at Costco, and were cut into small pieces. On both stays, the desk clerk did not ask how the stay was, or how the room was. All they did say when we mentioned we would grab a coffee for the road, was that there aren't any cup lids.

Never received daily cleaning of the room

Disturbing stay, they never cleaned our room once in our three day stay, we brought it to there attention the first day at the front desk, second day same no cleaning and no clean linens again, made them aware again the third day, even after stopping in the morning to remind the housekeeping staff that were outside our room to ensure our room was cleaned, it was unbelievable, we asked for the managers number or email and the front staff would not provide, they told us to email the general hotel email , as they had no authority to do anything about it, so we emailed not once but twice, only to never receive a reply, we asked twice for the manager to call us once again he never did, it was so disrespectful, the last night was the most disturbing, the front desk clerk knocked on our door with the housekeeper at 830pm to tell us that a little old man had told her not to clean the room, there was no little old man with us and we were out of the room from morning til night time each day, we had no idea the purpose of this visit which was clearly a violation , we received no apology , nothing , very disrespectful from the management to the cleaning staff, would never recommend to stay here, hotel is very run down and old., what kind of hotel doesn't clean your room after being reminded three times.
