"Beautiful quaint town in southern region. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel within easy walking distance of harbour and restaurants. Many hotels in Iceland are overpriced and not good value, this is not one of those."

"Great place. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Rooms were very nice, modern and clean. If you book a lake view room in the summer, the sun will be beating down on that room for most of the afternoon and by the time you check in, it will be nice and toasty. Easy window and door open to air out, but it was quite toasty by American standards. Also the path to the rooms is mulch so be prepared to carry your bags. They probably offer assistance for this, but not needed for myself and wife. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed."
