The shoebox room is not comfortable for two. I would not recommend this room for a couple or anyone looking for a comfortable space in which to relax. The shower is too small to allow room for raising one’s arms and the bathroom sink is the size of one found in a child’s playhouse. I would change the description of this room from “shoebox” to “claustrophobic.”

An absolute rare gem! This intimate boutique hotel exceeded all expectations—beautifully charming, thoughtfully designed, and wonderfully welcoming. Everything about this property was wonderful. I initially booked it thinking we would need parking but didn't as it turned out. So you can park your car here if you have one. The location is great as you can walk to all the sights but you're far enough away from the noisy pubs. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful with something for everyone. The beds are comfortable. There is coffee and tea making facilities and water, fresh milk and biscuits in the room. The toiletries are beautiful. The attention to detail is superb. I can't find fault with anything.
