First night, the room temperature couldn’t keep up with the coldness outside, so room was cold all night until the morning. The temp started going up so 2nd night wasn’t bad. Shower drain wasn’t great, we called and the staff answered very promptly. Great property, friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast buffet!

This is a mixed bag of a review because fundamentally it's a good hotel. I booked this hotel having recently stayed in the sister hotel in NYC. The good - well appointed good standard hotel, possibly above average. The reception area and rooms ate very good and the breakfast was really nice indeed. The bad - my room was in a new build part of the hotel, which meant a walk, an elevator, another walk and another elevator and then the final walk to the room. Itself not a disaster but the entire route had laundry carts, trolleys and rubbish dotted along, a really not welcome experience for customers. The room was clean and new if completely devoid of character but the bathroom could have been cleaner. There was a good idea water decanter to avoid unnecessary plastic waste but nobody seems to realise the sink isn't deep enough to put your decanter under the tap.! Pointless The terrible - I made these points at reception on way out but they cared little and just nodded so I'd go away. That little lack of interest is why I'm writing on here, normally I'd not bother.

Location was excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a tour booked for early morning and would miss the breakfast window and they offered to pack us a breakfast to go. Very sweet! Will stay again!!

Staff at front desk, helpful but slow with bringing things up to.the room..wsited 30 minutes for t bags and 75 minutes for the WiFi code. Men on the door, made us feel uncomfortable, like looking at us as so should we be here. One girl in particular whilst having breakfast just keep walking around with a tray not interested in clearing up unless it was a cleaner plate and easy. One other girl in particular was doing a fantastic job. Not much sleep as the doors were not blocking out noise one bit. We heard footsteps, talking, shouting , banging not enjoyable and like i said not a great 2 nights. The fact there is no carpet made the room cold as you coukdnt walk on it without shoes, always chilly.
