We had an amazing stay at the Iveagh Garden hotel. We went to see Simply Red and stayed for two nights. I would like to give a special mention to Orla on the reception and to James who were so welcoming and informative and kind I would definitely love to visit again.

Lovely hotel in quiet neighborhood. Great staff. Beautiful restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Ended up in handicapped accessible room where bathroom could really use some counter space. Hope to stay again some day.

Inveigh Garden is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The actual gardens are down a lane nearby and worth a stroll, and plenty of pubs for dining are a block away in the Camden Place area. Harcourt Street, where the hotel faces, is nice architecturally though largely without shops in this area--just residences and offices in Georgian brick buildings. But walk along Harcourt to a more active downtown. My only complaint is that the hotel exiled me to their townhouse, a separate building down the block, so I wasn't able to use the lobby, see the staff, or meet people without walking down the street. Not a terrible hardship, but I did feel spurned. And it's likely that the tiny room was tinier than those in the hotel itself. The room faced the street, which wasn't loud, but it was at ground level so I had to leave the curtains shut. Not ideal, but bearable. The bathroom was nicely done with a rain feature shower and adequate space. A mini desk was wedged by the window, and the comfortable bed filled the rest of the minimal space. The breakfast buffet was outstanding--seek a room deal that includes it. A huge range of choices, from mini-smoothies to a plate you can heap with sausages, eggs, and black pudding. I don't know how hotels do it, but this is yet another facility with fresh, perfect canteloupe and melon. The front desk helped me locate a bus to get to the airport and was always available (if I made the trek to the main hotel) to answer questions with cheer.

The nearby club that played music and chatter until 2 am was the negative for me. I needed to sleep and couldn’t until 3 am. I loved the boutique feel of the hotel and friendly staff.
