There was renovation work going on next to my room that went way past 5.30pm and started before 7am despite been reassured that it will start at 8am, so not very good for a good night’s sleep on this basis my stay was a bit ruined even for 1 night

The customer service was brilliant from the moment we arrived. The self check-in was easy and the room was clean and well equipped. Broadband was fast. Over our stay we had breakfast lunch and dinner and all were of a high standard and presented good value for money. Bar is well stocked and not expensive. Great place and look forward to our next visit.

Odd experience. I paid the extra charge for an upgrade to an Executive room and when we got to the room it seemed like a standard room. I spoke with reception and they confirmed that I was in a standard room as no available Executive room was available. If I hadn’t inquired I would have paid for an upgrade without receiving one.

The meals served in the restaurant are terrible. Something akin to hospital food but much more expensive. I would guess that the food is prepared off site and reheated in the hotel. Although mine was cold. Breakfast was good.
