"I stayed at the Hawthorn Extended Stay when I visited my parents over the last 5 years, and it was a wonderful place. Unfortunately, when I returned, it was a complete disappointment. The front desk staff seemed very clueless. When I entered the building, immediately noticed that the hallways were in a terrible condition-the carpets were filthy and rolling up off the ground, and the walls were dirty. When I made it to our room, I can't even begin to describe how filthy it was. There were brown stains on the sheets and pillows, which made me very nervous about sleeping on the bed. The couch in the room was barely recognizable; it was ripped from the cushion to the armrest, looking as if it had been severely neglected. The floors were scratched up, the arm of the chair was torn, and the back support of the chair appeared to have some brown liquid spilled on it. he curtains were dirty, and the nightstand was missing a charging port that had never been repaired. There was a hole in the wall next to the breaker box. A stand-up lamp in the room was broken and couldn’t stand up straight. This room should never have been sold to guests and needs to be removed from the check-in list. I assume this is a franchised Wyndham property. The owner should be ashamed for allowing the property to deteriorate to this level. I booked an eight-day stay, but after just one night, I left and lost my money. I then booked another hotel and would like a refund for the remaining seven nights."

"The entire experience was great. Staff, room, parking, bed, breakfast, water pressure, cleanliness…all of it deserves a 10. Most importantly traveling with our two Labs…the grassy areas, the relief area and being able to go in and out several of the side doors with the room key made it all very convenient. After driving for 12 hours it was the best choice we could have made. Even the Nextdoor Mexican restaurant let us eat on the patio with our dogs, which was very nice!"

"At the low price, I expected something kinda ratty. Pleasantly surprised by a clean and comfy room. It may have been recently refurbisheded. My room was large, with king sized bed, desk and rolling chair, easy chair and ottoman, and a long dresser holding a long HDTV. They even had a card with all the TV options listed, which is rare. AC worked fine on low fan speed, and was quiet. Shower was new and had good pressure. Only drawbacks: no coffee maker and no fridge, But breakfast was 6:30 am and I made do. Would definitely stay here again. hdtv,"
