"We were able to check in about 5 minutes early, which was nice. As we were finishing up check-in, there was a line forming. I thought I would be asked to see my ID, but the front desk clerk said, "I gave you your key, we're done,". I was a little thrown off by that and felt he was rude. Also the lobby smelled like cigarettes. When we got to the room, it wasn't bad. It was clean enough, but there was no coffee maker, no fridge, no hair dryer, and one of the lamps had no light bulbs in it. I don't remember if a fridge was an actual amenity that was listed, but I assumed it was, and I might have been wrong about that. If all of the previous points are not bad enough, wait until you hear what happened at about 11:30 that evening. I was just finally drifting off to sleep (it was hot in the room and turning the thermostat all the way down did nothing), when a man opens our door with a room key. My friend sat up in her bed that was closer to the door and said something to the man like, "What are you doing?" He said, "Sorry, wrong room. Housekeeping,". He left right away, thank God. We both talked to the person at the front desk the next morning and told her everything that happened. She said she was currently the only housekeeper, which would go against what the random man said when he walked in. I gave her my phone # and email for the owner to contact me, but I did not hear from him. Overall not a good hotel and I do not recommend staying there."
