Detroit terrible

It was in a terrible neighborhood. They didn’t have a restaurant or any place where you could buy any snacks. The bed was the worst bed I’ve had in the United States oh and did I mention the neighborhood is terrible for the price I expected a nicer place.

This is a really cool place. Just a nice vibe overall with cool decor and amenities including an area to hang out around a fire pit. Corktown has plenty to offer.

Be prepared for concrete exposed floors in the rooms. Queen beds fit more like full size beds. Small rooms. But it was clean and the parking is fenced in.

After I checked in, the front desk rented out my room again and gave another guest a key to my room. I was napping when the other guest opened the hotel door with the key they were provided. As a female traveling alone, this was a very scary situation. The front desk called to tell me of their mistake. They also didn't tell me I have to go back to the desk to get another key, so when I went out, I could not get back into my room. Also, not a great area of the city for walking around.

The hotel was different. It had a nice industrial look. We liked the on-site parking. The floor was cement/pavement and had area rugs in spots. The rugs had furniture on top, but the ends of the rugs were prone to sliding and could be a trip hazard. The tub was slippery and needs treads on the surface. Other than the safety concerns it was a good value.
