The hotel was clean and conveniently located near shopping options like Target, Walmart, and several restaurants — though, to be fair, that’s expected in Dearborn, where most things are within a 5–10 minute drive.
What was disappointing, however, was the housekeeping. I travel frequently for work, and it's standard for rooms to be cleaned during the day when guests are out. This was a personal trip, and we stayed for two nights — yet during that time, housekeeping never fully serviced the room. Strangely, someone entered the room while we were out, removed the dirty towels, emptied only one of the trash cans (the one near the door), and left the bathroom trash untouched — but did leave a small trash bag as if we were supposed to replace it ourselves. Most frustratingly, they didn’t restock any towels.
When we returned to the room around 11 p.m., not only were the beds unmade and the trash partially taken out, but there were also no towels at all — which meant I had to go down to the front desk late at night just to request some. This isn’t typical based on my travel experience, so I’m not sure what went wrong, but overall, the housekeeping service was well below expectations.
