"I’ve stayed at a couple Bahia’s now and I cant say this was my favorite. But we still had a great time! Pros and cons below: Pros: the resort activities are always fun, most of the staff are AMAZING, the buffets were decent, the room service meals were incredible, pool bar is lovely, wonderful spa, lots of offered excursions, no public beach for people to harass you to buy stuff like a lot of other Caribbean resorts, free drinks/room fridge restocked daily Cons: the layout is super weird, you had to go through so many different buildings to get where you needed to go, it’s not very separated from the kids side (some buffets are shared, shows/excursions/spa shared too) so you’ll see them unless you don’t leave the adult side (hard when you want to eat and what not), pool closes at 7pm, it was never quiet for even an hour during the night - doors slamming, workers yelling, other guests yelling etc. (expected at adults only resort, just beware), if you book a certain room, it’s not actually guaranteed you’ll get the room even as VIP status, adults side pool is oddly separated by bridges so it’s like 3 separate pools vs one long one. Overall, a great stay and would be back with better insights next time. Bring a cup for pool drinks so you don’t have to go up as often and the workers always make your drinks/experience better when you tip them, even just a dollar for each drink. Enjoy Jamaica, it will be worth your while at the Bahia! “Volveré!”"

"If you're looking for a place that is conveniently located to the local shops and Mahogany Beach well this is it. Our room was located on the 2nd floor and the view of the ocean from the balcony was so beautiful. We brought our own washcloths and housekeeping washed them for us every morning and returned them back to our room. The breakfast was complimentary and so delicious. I wanted Jamaican homestyle dishes and the chef did not disappoint. Also, the pastries and bread are made on the property, we purchased a loaf to take back home with us. The staff was very courteous, helpful, and pleasant. If you don't mind some loud music from the locals at night or if you're here on Sunday you can here the church service and gospel music from the church across the street. Even those things made my experience that much more real. The garden was nice and perfect place to take pictures. The parrot did not want take photos lol. The tunnel entrance to their manmade beach was so cool especially if you go at night, but that "beach" was for people who just want to sunbathe. If you want the full beach experience walk down the street and spend the 500JAMD, (a little over $3USD) to enjoy the beach. The pool and hot tub was a nice addition and made for a cool way to relax after a hot day. Beach towels are available at the front office. "
