Had to change rooms due to lights not working and just needing light bulbs. Was told they could take care of it in the morning or we could change rooms. Had to change rooms because morning wasn’t going to cut it. The bed was rock hard. The continental breakfast was very minimal. Over all I would only give this hotel one star. We have stayed at other La Quinta’s and they have been better. Over all the employees didn’t seem to care. There was stains all over the bedding. Just very disappointed.

Did they wash the linens?
For the price I should have known better, but oh well. The one thing that is a must for me is having clean linens on the bed. The cover sheet had stains all over it. I initially thought it might be permanent stains but when I took a warm washcloth to the stains several were removed or dulled. I really hope I didn't sleep on a bed with used linens...gross. The area is also pretty shady and the outside is beat up. All the rooms are on outside stairs that are really dated. Elevator also didn't work so you had to use the stairs for a 3rd story room. The inside of the room was decent with the exception of the linens.

Unsafe and downright gross
This was a horrible stay. The hotel is in terrible shape. If there weren’t cars in the parking lot you would think it was abandoned. Then there’s the trash (empty boxes of supplies like toilet paper and such for the hotel) and used condoms along the walkway to the rooms. No room refreshes are offered unless you are staying for more than 5 days. Then there was the room itself. The linens were stained and gross looking, the bathtub was stained, and then the door lock was malfunctioning. We left for breakfast after the first night and when we returned, the keys weren’t working. After the manager reprogrammed the keys, it still wouldn’t work. The manager brought his master key and opened the door because the deadbolt had initiated itself when we closed the door. He said we need to be more careful when closing our door because the lock was not working properly. This didn’t make us feel very safe and the condescending tone from the manager was the ultimate insult. When requesting to check out at that point we were refused a refund because it was after checkout time. What a joke. Word of advice to the manager, don’t insult your guests and maybe consider closing your establishment while you bring it up to a safe standard for your guests.

The towels were dirty and stained, the bed sheets had several stains, the comforter had cigarette burn holes in it, the chair at the desk was dirty and sticky, the shower had a lot of mold growing and the tub would not drain while you were showering so you were standing in several inches of water, the continental breakfast was limited and the food stations were dirty each morning. Overall terrible experience, I would never stay here again. Would have rather slept in my car.

My room had no hot water. The walls were thin And I could yelling feom thenother guests throughout the night. The room was very dusty and there was garbage all over the parking lot. I got to breakfast right before they closed. The lady working there was rude.

I have never stayed in a La Quinta that had doors from the outside. We were on the third floor with lots of luggage and no options for elevator. There was little to no water pressure and the water was cold. The room was clean but the facility itself is obviously very old and could use some work. My main concern was all the outside noise throughout the night. I didn't feel safe.

Fire alarm wasn’t hooked up, and was beeping loudly the whole night. Shower didn’t drain at all. Facilities disheveled, broken laundry machines, the list goes on. If you need a place for a night, it’ll do. But if you’re booking a family vacation, look elsewhere.

The property does no justice to how the pictures look and the charges for complete lack of service. The entire property is ill maintained, elevator and breakfast area are all so filthy. Was disgusting to go eat food there. Also we called and asked for room service and linen replacement. None of that was done and we had to manage with 2 towels and no replenished coffee. Whole experience leaves a bad taste on La Quinta. We have stayed in La Quinta in Vegas many times. Locations like this will tarnish the customer experience and brand.

The property is sadly showing noticeable deterioration. It used to be a preferred, reasonable location for our stays in the Golden area, but we will be looking elsewhere. The bed was old The covers stained The floors stained. The exterior is dirty, rusting and in need of paint and repairs. The surrounding grounds are trashed Didnt feel safe, secure or restful. Sad
