Grey House Getaway is a place to relax, unwind, disconnect from your everyday life and most of all a place to make memories.
Welcome to this gorgeous Colorado modern home that is in one of the hottest neighborhoods, minutes from downtown Denver. The home has an amazing outdoor entertaining area with an 8-seat conversation covered patio and 6 seat dining set to enjoy the beautiful Colorado outdoors. The property is perfectly located in a wonderful area situated just a short drive to Boulder or Denver and Colorado Springs is only an hour or so away.
The major ski resorts of Eldora, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Aspen and Vail are a short trip from our location - 30 minutes to 2 hours. We are minutes from Standley Lake where you can go fishing, boating or jet skiing. The rental for equipment is just down the street. For golfing enthusiasts there are several golf courses close by and miniature golf 10 minutes away. A great bonus is the short walk to Arbor Lake or the new Westminster downtown for shopping and restaurants. The RTD Light Rail/Bus Station is 2 minutes from the front door with quick access to Boulder, Denver and surrounding entertainment. We provide the privacy one desires in a location that is convenient to many amenities.
Grey House Getaway has been exceptionally cared for and professionally decorated. The large windows allow for sun filled mornings where you can sit at the breakfast table and plan a fun filled day at the Denver Zoo, Museums, Unser Karting go-kart, Elitch Gardens Theme Park, Water World family water park, Aquarium, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Bandimere Speedway just to name a few agenda items. The home boasts of bamboo wood floors and a modern kitchen.
After a day of adventure cool yourself with our central air or cuddle up in the upstairs Master bedroom with a 55” wall mounted entertainment center and cozy linens to enjoy your favorite movie. Wander downstairs and go back to the days of traditional game night in a beautiful game room where families come together with hot cocoa, popcorn, smiles, and lots of laughter.
During the winter spend time enjoying the property and all Colorado has to offer. Bundle up on those Colorado cold but sunny days and make snow angels or Frosty the snow man. Afterwards, get warm and cozy in the downstairs recreational room and watch a movie on the 65” LED 4K TV its like being in a private theater (1 of 3 LED TV's in the house). During the spring and summer time step on to the large patio, bird watch, count the bunnies, or enjoy other Colorado wildlife-or play a game of family freeze tag on the large grassy lawn.
Our home comfortably sleeps 8 people in four queen beds, three upstairs and one downstairs. There are two beautiful full bathrooms to soak away the day’s fun! You are welcome to use the washer and dryer in the laundry room downstairs and park in the 1 car attached garage to unload the groceries.
Creating a place for you to stay and feel comfortable is very important for us. We take great care to provide the best accommodations possible for you and your loved ones.

Truly a home away from home! The house was perfect for our family gathering and birthday celebration dinner. From the spacious patio with seating for all and well maintained BBQ to all the amenities in the house, the owners have provided a welcoming place to stay. Even the kitchen had everything we needed. Went for our family vacation. The house is well taken care of. The beds are great. Played lots of games on the down stairs table. Cooked dinner on the grill. Really enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evenings and drinks some cold beers. Took the boy fishing at the lake that is in walking distance of the house. Never made it to the several other lakes that are with in minutes of the house. This has been one of the cleanest and nices house we have rented from Vrbo. Just a great stay away from home place.

Such a great property

We had a wonderful stay! The house was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It was clear the hosts take great care of the space. We especially appreciated the coffee bar—it was such a thoughtful touch and made our mornings even better. The camping chairs were also a great bonus and perfect for relaxing outside. Off to the zoo from this home

This was a wonderful property. we had 6 adults and a 4 year old and we stayed to visit the zoo for our granddaughters 4th birthday. Ample room for everyone. we loved breakfast and dinner in the back yard and the little one loved the bunny that came to visit every day and the squirrels that would stop by too. would highly recommend.

Stay for CU Boulder Graduation

Great stay at Grey House - house had everything we needed, was very clean, comfortable and an easy drive to CU Boulder campus, Denver and Red Rocks. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful backyard with covered patio to sit with coffee and a book and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend!

Family getaway

Grey House was the perfect spot for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house had all the things we needed plus some. Location was spot on for what we wanted to do - and we had nice weather to boot. We enjoyed the games and puzzles as well as the multiple TV's. Some of the kids even ventured out to the backyard and played in the fresh snow.

Great Getaway Weekend

From the moment we drove up the driveway, we knew we'd made the right choice for a rental. Decorated in calming colors and super cute, we felt right at home. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, we had ample time to see unique attractions in the Denver area. Several restaurants are close by so we could order in at night.

Home away from home!

The home was very clean and stocked beyond measure, we wanted for nothing. The host had cornhole boards in the garage that we used in the beautiful and spacious back yard. We enjoyed our coffee on the patio each morning. The location was great, we drove to Elitch Gardens a couple of times and took an Uber to a Rockies game. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The perfect home for our (three small) families, I would book this again for sure. Five stars to this host!

Very clean, very well stocked. Beautifully decorated and spacious. Pleanty of room for 6 adults with bonus media/game room. LOVED the gas stove and outdoor gas grill. Outdoor space is beautiful. Oh, the wild cottontail bunnies were a fun surprise!
