The lobby is not very welcoming and certainly lacks visual appeal as well as comfort. When we arrived, the lobby was packed with families with small children. Children were running all over yelling and running into other guests. Not whgat people in their 80's expect to great them. We had planned to use the pool, but when I checked it was full of unsupervised children as was the exercise room.
Breakfast was about the quality one would expect from a free breakfast. Although breakfast was served until 10 a.m., when we arrive at 9 , there was a definite shortage of plates, silverware, and food. This was true 3 of the 4 days we were there.
Room service was a joke. I had to make the bed every day, the trash was only emptied once, and someone from housekeeping came to the door only once to see if we needed anything. We were there from Thursday, to Monday, and nothing in our room was ever cleaned during that entire stay. At well over $200.00 per night, this whole experience was pathetic (and yes, we have stayed at various suite hotels before and there is no comparison)
The location is great! The restaurants and other businesses were all top notch and within an easy walk.
