I was disappointed in the room. There were three large pieces of furniture, so not a lot of space. The furniture could be arranged better. One of the pieces covered most of a mirror. That mirror would have been nice to use because only one person could be in the tiny bathroom at a time.There was no outlet in the room except for the one on the bedside light. No where to plug in the coffee maker or a blow dryer. The heat/cool did not work properly. The fan would not run constantly so we had to listen and be kept awake by the people out front of the hotel talking loud til 3 am. I set the air conditioner on 62 degrees and it was still too warm in the room. There’s more, but tired of typing. Breakfast was just ok. The lady working was super sweet.

The carpet in my room was coming up on the edge by where the tile ended, the automan and office chair were faux leather and so worn i wouldnt have sat in them if i needed to, the shower was hard to turn on (pull then turn...but i needed both hands to turn it), breakfast was cold sausage gravy, cold biscuits, some kind of cheese brat (i think thats what it was), cereal, and the make your own waffle station. The only healthy food were apples and oranges wrapped in saran wrap. The whole weekend there were the same dirty footprints in the elevator and on the floor outside of the elevator. The garbage can in the hall was never emptied. I killed 3 bugs. One was a tiny spider in the sink. I dont want to know what the other 2 were. The staff at the desk was not there when I checked in and when I checked out he asked me if ibwas checking out, i said yes and handed him my room keys, he said ok, youre all set. Didnt ask how my stay was or anything. I wasnt in town to enjoy the hotel, so it didnt impact my weekend, but when I come back, i will pick a different hotel.

From our check in with Max to the early smiles and friendliness from Angie at breakfast, and warm and incredible helpfullness from Charles, the entire staff was friendly and helpful. I wish I knew all their names because they deserve recognition! I have stayed in a lot of hotels, both for business and pleasure, and have never experienced the genuine friendliness from an entire staff like we did here. We are going back to Ohio for a wedding in 3 weeks and had planned on staying at a different hotel because some other out of town people were staying there but we changed our minds because excellent customer service is such a powerful part to an important list in making a trip successful!

The included breakfast was hot and good. The staff at this hotel is excellent. In all my interactions, members of the staff were friendly and helpful. For that reason alone, I would stay at this hotel again when I visit the Dayton, Ohio area. Excellent guest service deserves praise and loyalty!

I was pleasantly surprised with our recent stay. The room was very clean. The front desk staff was friendly, attentive, and respectful. The breakfast attendant was delightful and attentive. Breakfast was great with several options. I will be staying here again for our next visit to the University of Dayton.
