The breakfast was pretty good, lots to choose from. Room was spacious and convenient. The tubs should have mats inside so you dont slip. And when we arrived there was some funky smell at the entrance, lobby and room.

The hotel lobby was clean. The staff were welcoming. Because I didn’t have a credit card, I was not able to stay but my card was charged for the night. I want my money back!

Property is run down. Wallpaper peeling off the bathroom wall. Sink drained slowly. Stains on carpet in room and throughout hallways. Stairwells had dirty floors and trash.

The room was moldy. The elevator and stairs were covered with stains, and the bathroom sink was stopped up. I had to spray my room with Lysol to get rid of the smell.

After getting delayed in Charlotte, the airport shuttle was the main draw to this hotel. The shuttle, check-in, and breakfast were exactly what we needed after a stressful end to a day of travel delays.

Check in was great and the staff member was excellent with trying to accommodate our needs. The first room we were in didn’t have hot water so we ask to move. The second was smaller, had hot water, but had mold growing in the bathroom. Overall, not a good experience for just being there a few hours.

It’s okay. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The staff was under a lot of pressure because maybe 15 or so people arrived at the same time in the middle of the night due to cancelled flights. Took a very long time to check in. One of their card readers wasn’t working. Pool was out of service.

Budget hotel at bougie price

I’ll caveat this by noting there were many, many delays at Charlotte airport, rendering a large number of people scrambling for a hotel room. With that being said, it was more than an hour in line to check in — no, that’s not an exaggeration: 12:32a - 1:34a. There were two people at the front desk, a woman and a man. The woman was fantastic; she had a good disposition and was checking people in while answering the phone. The man was basically refusing to help anyone and was very rude. The room was older, however bedding was updated and beds were comfortable, but it was NOT a $200 a night room. It was more akin to a budget hotel with many things needing attention including two of the three locks on my room. Overall, it was a last minute need and it met that, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was not up to a Marriott standard at all. The lobby smelled like mildew. The phone did not work. There were stains on the carpet , walls and tub and I had to get cleaning items delivered just to be able to stay there. Someone was always walking from the desk and the complimentary shuttle is not convenient at all.
