The bathroom smells like ass. So nasty. Leaving the vent on doesn’t help. Since it is next to the highway, it is really noisy. The single pane windows don’t reduce that noise at all. The A/C keeps the front part of the room cold, but the back part (where the nasty bathroom is) stays warm. This place has no amenities, which is fine for the price point.
This place does not feel safe. There were crazy people walking around the parking lot in bathrobes and slippers. Someone else was having a major shouting fight 2 days in a row from one of the guest rooms. A couple of people living out of their cars were camped out in the back corner of the parking lot over by the dumpster.
On the positive side, the location provides access to a lot of really good restaurants within walking and driving distance. Restaurants like Zenna, Tokyo One, Kirin Court, 85 Degree Bakery, Little Rome. The guy at the front desk is friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained, but trash pick up in the back could use some work.
